Don't Stay Here
Hotel that has been let go. Rooms are dirty, smell, and are not worth the price charged for it. Resort fee goes for what? Nothing is open. Daily food credit is only good for limited choices and limited hours. There are better choices to stay. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here.

Old hotel in need of a makeover
The hotel was very tired, although the rooms were clean they were very outdated and in need of a makeover, limited restaurants available made leaving the hotel necessary to eat. The staff were all very friendly which made the visit much better

Visit to comedy club and Trago lounge
We spent one fun filled evening at the Tropicana on Thursday Jan 26. We had a lot of fun at the Laugh Factory. We've been going there for years and it's always the best bang for you buck in Vegas. Afterwards we wandered into the Trago lounge where Karaoke was just starting and we ending up staying until it ended at 1 am. There were a few very talented regulars and an overall fun loving and friendly crowd. The main reason I'm writing this review though is to thank the bartender who at one point late in the evening came over to my husband to hand him his wallet which he had accidently left lying right on the bar after paying for drinks. It would have been a nightmare to have lost that wallet with all the cash and cards in it. We were so grateful in the moment but it wasn't really till the next morning that we realized how incredibly lucky we were and we wished we could have done more other then just a thank you. To that particular bartender, thanks a million, we will pass it forward.

5 Star Name 1 Star Property
You will need to pay a mandatory “resort” fee. Thing is there is no resort. Pool was not open. There is no whirlpool. I did not get housekeeper and when asked why I was told they were short staffed. BS. The place is old and outdated. It is dirty and needs repair. Spend the extra money and stay at a new property.

Very outdated
The hotel was outdated Rooms had very poor lighting. The carpet was old and ugly. The bathroom was old and basic tub/ shower was old and chipping. The bed was ok but had to ask for more than one pillow Nothing special about this hotel. With all the hotels to choose from we will never choose this one again.
