Not enough consideration to guests’ property
Very pleasant hotel, staff were all very friendly and nice. Grounds are lovely and pool is wonderful! Would have given a five star review, but I’m very disappointed in the maid service. I left a good tip after staying in my room for two days. Wish I could get that back, because a swimming suit I hung on the back of the door and inadvertently left behind was apparently tossed out like trash when it would have been simple to take to lost and found. I *may* return to stay at this hotel - have stayed there other times when visiting the area - but if I do, I will not be tipping the maids. This disrespectful behavior is an embarrassment for this hotel and a disservice to the other hardworking staff.

Convenient Stay
It was a nice stay in a convenient location next to the Oxbow Market. The coffee maker in the room was nice. However, the rooms and the hotel need renovation. Everything was fairly tired. The dog-friendly policy was a true bummer. We had a dog in the room right down the hall from us that barked incessantly. Dogs were allowed throughout the hotel lobby and in the elevators. I hope the hotel will rethink this policy. It is a true turnoff.

Great Experience
Westin Napa has a great location and terrific hospitality. The staff is attentive and helpful. A special thank you to Royce Ann, the lead concierge, and her colleague Dakota who gave fantastic recommendations for wineries and restaurants.

Stay somewhere else
Overall disappointing. Hotel was clean, but rooms were outdated. I ordered steak & dessert from “room service” which was served with plastic silverware in a to-go bag. The steak was overcooked and the food just wasn’t good. My phone died so I made a few calls from the hotel phone & was charged $20/call (there was no notice the calls would be charged). I will not stay here again and would recommend looking into some of the local hotels nearby. It looks like The Archer downtown has similar rates…when we stopped in at their rooftop bar I was very sad we didn’t book there instead. Aside from location, there is nothing special about this place.

The perfect hotel in the perfect location
Check in was a breeze. Lobby was beautiful. Our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite was amazing. Everything was clean. Our views were wonderful—overlooking the Napa river. We even saw 2 sea lions in that river (apparently in search of salmon). The bedrooms had comfy beds and were very roomy as were the bathrooms. A full kitchen including a full size fridge came in handy. The dining room seated 6. The living room was a nice size as well. This suite had lots of room to spread out. The entire property including the bar and pool/hot tub area was clean. The location of this property was fantastic—literally steps from oxbow market which is an awesome place. It’s within easy walking distance to many tasting rooms, restaurants and shopping in downtown Napa. If and when I ever return to Napa, I will definitely stay at the Westin again.
