Dec 18, 2025Close to the city but set in nature
I attended a conference at the hotel and it was an ideal venue for such a large event with many different meeting rooms. What I most enjoyed during my stay were early morning birding walks and ocean swims before work began. Although best to swim at mid to high tide to avoid sharp rocks, it is indeed a playa bonita and the ocean is warm and calm, just wonderful for long open-ocean swims (if that's your thing). There is an abundance of extraordinary birds, sloth and other amazing widlife in the hotel gardens and wild forest areas all around the hotel.

We will be back !!
Marilyn Gonzalez was our server for most of our stay Dec 8-12, 2025. She went above and beyond and ensured that we had everything we needed. She was very kind and polite and I looked forward to our daily chats. I will definitely be back. Monique Stokes Toronto, Canada

Oregano Cafe feels Homemade
This is a specific endorsement for the in property Oregano Cafe. It features Italian food prepared by chef Cesar and the server is Karin. The Westin is all inclusive but you’re allowed to purchase pasta, pizza and more even if you don’t stay. Let me just say the lasagna was ever so tasty! It tasted homemade with love by chef Cesar. Full of succulent beef and the right ratio of cheese noodles and sauce. It hits the spot and was yummy to my tummy. If you’re in the area or staying at the Westin Playa Bonita I suggest you check it out.

Nice & Clean
The service at Tierra Y. Fuego was phenomenal. Our waiter Jahir Barco was so professional. He provided excellent service. Service was 10/10.

The following regulations may be enforced: -Alcohol is restricted Thursday, midnight at 12:00am to Saturday, midnight at 12:00am. -Music is banned in Discos and public places. (AI resorts get a permit enabling them to serve alcohol and play music within the resort.)
