Dirty Underwear in my room
I stayed at the Westin in Paris on November 19, 2024. When I checked into my room, there was a pair of glasses, toiletries, and a shirt and dirty underwear laying in the bed. I do not know if they just forgot to clean it or they gave my room to another person, but I found it to be totally disgusting and unbecoming of the Westin brand. The room is also about the size of a broom closet and there is construction outside and a loud fair going on across the street. You can find much better places to stay in Paris.

Lacking Luxury
The Westin is a self-proclaimed “luxury” hotel, yet its state of repair you wouldn’t even find in a budget hotel brand such as Ibis. Rooms In dire state of repair, from the paint peeling away from the tiles in the bathroom to damaged woodwork to AC from the 80s. Housekeeping Diabolical. Gym Small, barely any facilities work. Lunch Only served in a bar without dining tables and chairs. Breakfast €39 for quite possible the worst buffet I’ve ever had.

NOT WORTH STAYING
NOT A WESTIN STANDARD! The only good thing about this hotel is location. I could not believe that this is a Westin property. The room I got was really outdated, bed is not what Westin is known for “heavenly bed”, the room decor is terrible and the worst part is, the bathroom is disgusting, see attached picture. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE IN PARIS WHERE THE MANAGEMENT CARES ABOUT THE HOTEL OPERATION!
Great Location, but that is all that it has going for this hotel. The rooms are very old, and dated. We checked in early and presumed we had received the room requested via the “chat” three days prior when we checked in, but since it was not ready, we left luggage and went out to visit Paris. When we returned we were disappointed that the hotel had not actually assigned us the room we wanted, so beware of thinking the “chat” is going to be worth anything there. We tried to discuss this with the hotel manager Marie, who was not very friendly to us, but she finally helped find a room on the 2nd floor, instead of the 1st floor, above the street.Since the hotel has 5 floors, this was even disappointing, given that we requested a high floor away from the elevator. The room itself had a view, but it was extremely tight moving around, as they have tried to modernize it by adding a large cart. In doing this, it is impossible to get your luggage around the bed. The bathroom had mold in the bathtub, and many places where the paint was either missing, or had been patched. This is definitely disappointing when the price of a night here is higher then other hotels in the same area. When we spoke to the manager about this in the morning, he told us to go ahead and write a bad review, here it is!!! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THE MANAGEMENT CARES.

Great place to stay
The Westin is in the perfect location and a beautiful hotel. I was offered an upgrade to a room with the greatest view of Paris, it truly was. I had a junior suite with balconies (5!) The room was very spacious. The breakfast was included and delicious. The staff were kind. They had great amenities, essential oils for sleeping, hand sanitizer, complimentary water, and more. I would highly recommend over some of the high end locally owned hotels nearby
