Nov 17, 2024Historical Hotel along a well travelled harbor
Hotel has nostalgic, pillows and staff service were awesome. Was there for 4 days for a work conference. I had great service from food and beverage staff, and the housekeeping staff was amazing too. Great view of the Harbour, close enough to walk to great pubs and restaurant. I came in November so the climate was changing, didn't venture along the boardwalk as long as I would have liked too.

Beautiful, loved the beds & bedding, so comfortable. Also cleanliness is important to me and the property itself is very clean as well as the guest rooms. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating Would definitely return. 5 ⭐️ in my opinion .

Decent, not outstanding
We had a room with two queen beds for the family of four. The room was spacious, but the bathroom very small. Hotel was very busy with a conference going on, and had that conference / business feel to it. The staff was very busy with the conference; they did not help us out much and we had to plan on our own. Right across the road there is a large supermarket that was convenient for anything you need, and that's where we chose to get our morning coffee and breakfast from. The floor below the reception leads out to the start of the boardwalk a couple of minutes away, another bonus for the location, and Pier 21 is a few minutes walk from there, a must do for any visitor to Halifax, especially if you have a connection from a family member. there are plenty of restaurants on the boardwalk so it's a question of doing some research. Walking to most places around Halifax was easy and very pleasant to see the city. Another must do is the maritime museum with Titanic history that Halifax is tied to. Loved the city for our three days there, hotel was okay, but pas plus que ca.

Great!
This hotel was perfect because of the location and the view. Their signature heavenly bed helped you to your deep rest after visiting the attractions nearby. Nice sea view/port if you chose ocean view room. Right by the grocery store. The shops, restaurants, & bars within walking distance, like 5mins away. Even their Seaports restaurant was also satisfying. And less than 5 mins drive to the Park! And on top of that, their service was top notch. Everyone was always welcoming & helpful. So, I lost my necklace on the last visit when I checked out. Was in hurry & it fell off somehow. I contacted the Hotel immediately from the airport. Liz at the Service Center along with Yana (Housekeeping Supervisor) & her team located it in no time. Unfortunately I lost the chain, it could be anywhere tbh, but thanks to their fast response I at least got my pendant back! Please extend my gratitude for each one of them. And see you next year!

Great experience
We had a great experience. We arrived early and they let us check in several hours in advance, the food at the restaurant was great, and cleaning was always done quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend! Be sure to check out the buffet brunch in the morning, it was delicious!
