    Exceptional staff

    Staff were exceptional. I'm on a special diet and all the staff from the Supervisor to the waiter/waitress were superb. They are a credit to the Marriott experience. Well done!

    A beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend to our friends/family. As I mentioned at checkout - I would appreciate either a bath mat or those non-slip pads in the tub, just to feel safer in the shower. When I raised this issue with the manager I was told it is an option to ask for a bath mat. Perhaps it would be a good idea to advise guests of this option at check in. Other than that, the hotel is wonderful and we enjoyed our stay very much. Another note: we were not aware until checkout that patients of the nearby hospital are eligible for additional perks, including a reduced rate. We were not aware of this option either (we were actually in Halifax for my husband to have surgery at the VG). It might be a good idea to make people aware of this while they are still eligible to take advantage of the offer. Thanks again, and thank you for taking the time to read these suggestions.

    Westin, great Halifax Hotel

    Fantastic hotel, excellent service and attention to the small details. The location is perfect, walking distance to Halifax’s great restaurants. Highly recommend. Shout out to Jack on the front desk and to Glen, the GM.

    Room great, staff friendly, require additional parking lots

    The room was clean and staff was friendly. I would suggest additional parking for hotel guests or at least notice on where to park as I was not from the area.
