Westin Kids Club® Discovery Room
This fun-filled 'keiki' or children's program introduces the unique Hawaiian culture and traditions through dance, arts and crafts, language and games. Keiki ages 5 to 12 years can have an activity-filled day and learn more about Hawaii. The Westin Kids Club Discovery Room is licensed by the Department of Human Services, State of Hawaii.
Each day at the Westin Kids Club Discovery Room is different and exciting. Our Westin Kids Club® Discovery Room facility is equipped with video game systems, air hockey, foosball and more. Our day begins with keiki getting to know one another and includes a delicious lunch provided by our very own ‘Ono Bar & Grill. All full day keiki then enjoy an afternoon swimming in the Westin Maui pools. Keiki will receive a complimentary Westin Kids Club® t-shirt on their first visit.

Nov 24, 2025Lovely, well managed property in a great location on the Kaanapali beach
We recently stayed at the Westin for three nights. The hotel has been completely redone since our last visit several years ago. Although the rooms are not very spacious, they are very well designed with a number of built in shelves, hooks and cubbies to store all your belongings as well as a small closet with a number of drawers. The color scheme and decor of the rooms is also very attractive. The pool area is beautifully landscaped with a nice restaurant right on the beach path for lunch and dinner. The employees are all very personable and willing to please. They offer a hospitality suite for a short period of time to change and shower before your flight so you can continue to the enjoy their beautiful facilities after checkout. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay there again when we return to the Kaanapali area.

Beautiful Maui getaway
This resort is pricey, but beautiful. The pool area is set up with several different areas to prevent overcrowding. The room was clean and well appointed, the bed was comfortable, and the walk in shower was so nice. There is a shopping center in walking distance as well as several oceanfront restaurants with nice happy hour offerings from 3-5pm. The resort view is lovely even without ocean as the foliage is so pretty - beautiful tropical flowers, coconut & papaya trees. Evening on the room’s balcony was wonderful. The hotel is on a beautiful stretch of beach. If you have the energy, you can take a short walk down to black rock for a delightful snorkel experience - saw sea turtles and tropical fish every day. The staff at this hotel is fabulous - friendly, great service from everyone from check in & room care to check out! It was overall an amazing experience.

Most beautiful luxury resort I have ever stayed at. I highly recommend it.
We stayed in the HOKUPA'A tower with the Lanai Experience. The entire resort was recently renovated and every part of it was absolutely gorgeous. We had a guest room with ocean views & also overlooking the beautiful pools. Customer service was impeccable at every level. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who would like a stay at a luxury resort. It was my 20th trip to Hawaii & this was by far the best resort I have stayed at.

Great staff!
Had an amazing day at The Westin Maui! We spent the day enjoying their beautiful pools and relaxing in the stunning surroundings. We had a small mix-up with our day pass, but the staff went above and beyond to make things right and ensure we had the best experience possible. Their kindness and professionalism truly made our visit fantastic. We’d absolutely love to come back!

Wow! James at the pool bar could not have been more rude! I tried to order a dessert from him and he told me I had to go order it elsewhere. Am I not at a resort?! Is he not a server? Is this not his job? This hotel should be ashamed of themselves. What terrible customer service. I will never be staying at this establishment again. Maybe they need to train the employees properly.
