Nov 15, 2024Fantastic 1 night stop post long haul flight
Fantastic hotel. Check in was fast & seamless which I really loved. The best part was they don't over charge for early/late check in etc. I think it cost us $60USD which was great as most flights to Australia don't depart until the evening. The room was huge, which was great as we had 5 suitcases. The bed was ultra comfy as well. The foyer is quite large, it is a big hotel but certainly one that does the job and is perfect for an overnight stay before flying. One thing I also wanted to mention was the security who saw me out late at night & offered to stay with me for safety reasons which I genuinely thought was quite sweet. It's service like that which will see me utilizing this property more often. My only tip is to ask for a room close to the lifts, because this hotel is huge and we always felt like we were walking so far to get to/from our room but to be honest, I was most definitely surprised by how modern and refreshed everything was.

Nov 15, 2024Remodeled and good to catch a room before an early flight.
The hotel said it has been remodeled. But you can tell it has been around a while like in the elevator. The main thing is the room was nice. The bed is very comfortable and it has plenty of USB and C ports. A stand up shower which is new. The lobby is nice and it is very close to the new rental car garage. I walked over after dropping off my car. Didn’t want to pay the parking fee. It has regular shuttles to the airport.

Booked a room 2 months in advance, flight arrived at midnight, came to hotel and was greeted with a “sorry, we don’t have a room for you”. Absolutely awful!!! No compensation for any inconvenience. Not even a call telling us that the room isn’t available.

BEST SERVICE MOST COMFORTABLE BED
AMAZING service! I recently wrote to the GM about the Westin not using feather pillows anymore as I need a flatter pillow for a good nights sleep. Not only were the feather pillows brought back, my room had a lovely note welcoming me back to their location. As always, all the staff is friendly, the service for dinner was fast and delicious, and people remember your name. I will stay at this Westin every time I travel through Los Angeles. 5 STARS

Wonderful stay
We stayed last evening as we were enroute to Hawaii. The shuttle at the airport was there in minutes….no long wait. Driver was courteous and helpful. Check in was prompt and we were given a lovely welcome gift of chocolate, misc. candies and pretzels … we’re are Marriott platinum. Room was huge, comfortable and spotless. I rarely meet a mattress that doesn’t make my back hurt and I slept pain free here. Pillows were great too. The lounge for members with “ status “ was fantastic. Spacious and comfortable and generous food offerings both in the evening and breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.
