    Outstanding stay!

    This hotel is grand. The rooms are large and comfortable, the location is convenient to the metro and the staff is very professional. Although there are many restaurants within walking distance, be sure to have breakfast or dinner in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is excellent and dinner was tasty. The lobby and bar are great places to relax and enjoy the live music.

    Great Stay

    We were very happy with our stay at The Westin. The hotel is beautiful and we really enjoyed our balcony and the view. We were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to go. The front desk and doormen were always very helpful. Lots of fresh choices on the breakfast buffet and of course my pastries I love. Always right at our door when we picked up the phone for coffee or ice. Would choose The Westin again in Rome.

    Thank you to The Westin Excelsior, Rome

    My son and I recently had the great pleasure of a further stay at The Westin Excelsior, Rome. Once again, it was an incredible experience in every way. The hotel is beautiful. The reception, the restaurant and café with its fantastic food, the stunning bar and lounge area with the gentleman playing the piano and singing, and all the staff in the hotel with their first-class customer service, are all amazing. I am sad to leave this wonderful hotel and always hoping to return.

    Lovely hotel and staff

    I was a bit skeptical initially as I faced some communication issues with the staff. However, once I physically reached the hotel everything went super smooth. The staff was great and check-in was swift. The best part was the upgrade I got as a Titanium member to the grande luxe suite. It was wonderful and had 2 full bathrooms. The location is unbeatable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. It was really difficult to leave this place.

    Westin Rome not a 5 star hotel or experience

    We travelled as a group on a rugby weekend and in some aspects of our stay it was uncomfortable how we were treated as we were such a polite group and really did not want to dwell on the negatives of our Westin stay. A few observations: Hotel decor is very tired dated and rooms need upgrading ( our room was very dark as-well they may not all be the same on the 2nd level). The breakfast served to us was beyond poor and this is being polite! The staff unfriendly serving breakfast, like it was such an inconvenience for us to be there. The bedroom amenities were sparse and not replenished daily. One morning we were left with no towels to shower we had to run out into the corridor and get fresh towels from the trolley. The bar area and lounge staff are excellent, efficient and worked exceptionally hard to make sure we have a really good experience. It’s Rome so expect the bar prices to be top dollar. Overall not up to the standard you would expect I have stayed in better 3star budget hotels.
