Inconsistent Maid Service, Not Up To U.S. Westing Standards
Not up to Westin Standards in the U.S. Miad service was inconsistent, did not resupply water bottles daily, nor coffee for coffee maker. No directions on phone on how to reach front desk, so had to to downstairs daily to request bottled water and coffee. I had a ocean view, but basically worthless because the windows were filthy. Good snorkeling in front of the hotel, nice pool, food good. About a 7 minute scooter drive to town from the property. Best to rent a scooter for about $20 per day as taxi ride to town is $10.

Westin Cozumel made us feel like we were at home.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel, restaurant, and beach area were well maintained, safe, and felt like a home away from home. While small in size compared to the other resorts, it won us over by the friendliness of the staff, convenience of activities, and dining experiences. Most enjoyable was their little beach/cove area that offered a relaxing soak in the warm waters and chance snorkel close to land. While at the beach Alex C. and his co-workers took great care of us! We added the all-inclusive option to our reservation and really enjoyed the benefits. Dining options included two sit down restaurants, pool snack bars, and room service.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic service and staff!
My stay was perfect. The hotel is well managed and well-maintained. ALL of the staff were friendly and hard-working. Special recognition of the dinner staff: Esperanza, Carmen, Rosendo, Eduardo, and Cap Joseph. ¡Hasta pronto cuídate y suerte!

Best Hotel on Cozumel, no doubt about it!
We have stayed at the Westin Cozumel twice in the past year and it continues to deliver satisfaction on every level. We had a corner room on the 10th floor. It was spacious with a large balcony and wrap around windows. Big comfy bed and pillows. The beach is small but serviceable. The snorkeling right off the pier is INSANE. We saw barracudas, eels, sea urchins, octopus and soooo many fish. It was magiccal. Both restaurants are wonderful and the food quality is on point. Drinks are as expected for an all inclusive, but they always hit the spot. Get a cappuccino with Frangelico at breakfast, you will not be disappointed. Big shout outs to the following people: Joseph the restaurant captain. He made our dinners so memorable and treated us to a special flaming dessert on our last night. Hes a definite asset to the Westin. Rosendo was our server at both Cuzamil and Gaviatos. His service was attentive and he helped us with the language barrier. Hes a fantastic employee and we hope he is there when we return next year. Wilder and Jorge at the lobby bar are great. Perfectly made drinks every time and they are both easy to talk to. Virginia, our server on the beach was a dream. She is so kind and attentive and took care of us indefinitely. She is the best! Other employees that were amazing at Gaviatos were the hostess Carmen, the waiters Esperanza and Eduardo. They made all of our meals special.

Wonderful week at The Westin Cozumel
Our family (parents and young adult son) thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay in mid November. The staff truly made The Westin Cozumel a fantastic experience (except for one sour woman at the front desk). A big thank you and special shout out to Carmen, Jorje, Belem, Ananias, Javier and Juan, as well as Oscar, Abril, Randy, Diana in the restaurants; Vicky at the beach/pool; Ruth in the Spa. The food was outstanding! Kudos to the chefs. We were very pleasantly surprised:) The pace and size of the hotel and grounds was perfect for us. Diving and snorkeling was our focus. The spacious room and queen beds were comfortable - and that view!! We also enjoyed the pool and workout room. The bathtub/shower should be replaced with a walk in shower as water spills over the tub edge onto the floor despite best efforts. We left towels along the tub edge to prevent it puddling in the middle of the floor. The All Inclusive package needs to be clarified. In one of the emailed service newsletters it mentioned 2 levels of AI: Premium $120 and Regular $95 per day. We had the AI package but neither fee matched what we paid. And if there are 2 levels, what does each include? Also, does the AI fee include gratuities? We left tips at each meal because we weren't sure. If we travel to Cozumel again, we will be back at The Westin!
