  Standard Westin experience

  Titanium member on points booking. Booked base room and was upgrade by ACU to Club city view. We arrived early at 11am and the room was already ready, check in was smooth and was done in about 5 minutes. The room is pretty standard for a Westin, nothing to rave about, but has all of the function and facility you need. Club lounge is good, good presentation for the happy hour both in terms of drinks and food. Breakfast was in the Italian restaurant and has some interesting Italian breakfast options, but otherwise pretty standard breakfast options. Overall a good experience, on bar with the other Westin I have stayed globally.

  Great offering, not cheap.

  Great location in central Brisbane. Valet parking and luggage unload/delivery on arrival was seamless. Check-in was efficient, and the room had a good view over the city. No river view, but a view of the city nonetheless. Comfortable spacious room, generous bathroom with shower and seperate bath. Decent amenities. The drinks at the poolside and in the bar were good if a little expensive. The pool is great for a central city hotel although does get busy at the weekends. This part of the hotel has less of an upmarket feel. Breakfast in the morning was excellent - full, full buffet with great options on every segment. We were here last year and came back, and will likely return. Great offering, not cheap.

  The perfect city hotel, comfortable luxury with Italian dining touch ✨

  My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights at the Westin Brisbane, and it was a perfect stay. Spacious and clean rooms, smooth check in with attentive staff, and great breakfast selection (Italian style). The location of the hotel is fantastic - walking distance to many great spots to eat and stroll around. They also have a well equipped gym and pool area. Thank you for making our stay in Brisbane so memorable ✨

  A great hotel but there needs to be somewhere to store your clothes

  Everything about this hotel is lovely, the bed is comfortable, the shower is great,there all sorts of amenities including a swimming pool long enough to swim in, a great bar, a good ironing board and iron . However the reason this gets four over five is that the room suffers from ‘design over functionality ‘ syndrome. It looks wonderful, but there is a huge fridge with pretty much nothing in it but almost nowhere to put your clothes. Yes there is hanging space which is great and open fronted areas but they are high up so can’t be reached by most of the population. There is one huge open area that seems to have no function at all and a small one underneath at floor level (shoes I guess) and one drawer. That is one drawer for two people for six nights. Oh, and the toilet roll falls off every time you use it. As I said, a lovely hotel in most respects but somewhere to put your clothes would be great

  Marriot Bonvoy: Westin Melbourne

  I booked, and paid, for a tour through the marriot bonvoy website. The tour operator never showed up. After various attempts I finally got in contact with him. He said he no longer runs this tour, and that the hotel never should have sold it to me. I have emailed the Westin in Melbourne to follow up, and have not heard a response. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! Do not book a tour through their website!!!
