Excellent Hotel; Highly recommend for family
It was a great hotel with a very good beach. Rooms were updated and spacious and clean. We had a suite for four people that was attached to a room for 3 people. Abigail at the concierge was very good and helpful to us. We ate at the Asian, Steak, and Italian restaurants. All three were very good. Also, the buffet was very good as far as all inclusive resorts go. Beach side drink service was good and they had very nice kids club staff and activities. The music at night was also very good. The best show was the 70's / 80's show. The singer was so good. At the buffet, Frank Feliz, Yafeisy Soler, and Yorgeliys were so kind and helpful. They took good care of my elderly parents. Rosemeri and Uklei at the Asian restaurant were also very good servers and provided good food ideas. Cocktails were great and were not watered down. They even had sake at the Asian restaurant. The Rafael Nadal Tennis Club is next door, if we had know we would've brought our tennis rackets! The courts were reasonably priced as well at $30/hr. We also used the spa services for a deep tissue massage, which was great. A few wishes: for pool and beach side food service, bathrooms at the beach and pool could be upgraded, a hot tub, more treadmills at the gym, and softer pillows.

tl;dr: nice hotel with nice facilities, great beach, good gym, relaxing atmosphere. But the food was mediocre at best. More on the food: You’ll see a bunch of reviews on here that say the food is great, and there were other guests at the hotel we met that said they loved the food, so there’s definitely a portion of the population that will be content. My wife and I might be foodies a bit, but we are not snobs. I could live off rice and beans as long as it tastes good. And that’s the problem with Paradisus, the food presentation looks great, but it does not taste good. The restaurants are mildly better than the buffet, but still would be a very disappointing date night destination if I were anywhere in the states. There wasn’t a single desert in the hotel that we found edible besides some of the ice cream. I would only return if their dining underwent a significant overhaul.

Family Christmas Vacation
What an amazing experience! We were treated like Royalty the entire time! The accommodations were excellent. The food was outstanding. The weather was perfect! The ocean was beautiful and clear! Everyone catered to our needs! We cannot wait to come back!
