First time to this hotel, although we have been to Playa del Carmen many times. Only one person working the check-in desk so the process was much longer than necessary. Only one other person was checking in when we arrived. Check-out was slow as well, but there were multiple groups doing so at the same time, so waiting was to be expected. Everything else was great. Would stay here again.

With the exception of the breakfast buffet, many food items and most bar menu items are not included in the All-Inclusive Package. We had trouble with excess humidity (sheets and clothing were damp/soggy) in our room, which staff didn't seem to want to address. Roof-top pool and bar were exceptional!

Beautiful country, service and people.
Great service from great people. Shoutout to Francisco, Ramon, Bernardo,Israel and the rest of the staff. We were treated like kings and queens and were given great service of lifetime. Thank you for putting the guest first and introducing us to Playa del Carmen hospitality. Till next time my friends.

Vacation at The Reef 28

Best vacation ever!
This was the best Mexico trip ever and I have been all over! This place is very Bougie and the staff are absolutely lovely. From Ricky Ricardo at the Lobby bar, he makes the best Espresso Martini's ever! Alejandro at the Rooftop is so personal and we had some really nice chats with him. Everyone's English is far better than my Spanish, I will have to step it up when we go back. The real star of the Rooftop is Francesco, from day 1 he welcomed us everyday and ensured that we had fresh drinks and yummy food. We were treated so well by everyone, we can't wait to come back. If you are looking for a little "White Lotus" feel then the Reef 28 is form you, good job Team Reef 28!
