NEVER AGAIN. Don’t be fooled by a “hospitality suite” I have never before written a bad review on an upscale resort.
I HAVE NEVER LEFT A BAD REVIEW ON A 5 STAR HOTEL. I generally stay at the Encore however I had a welcome offer for Venetian/Palazzo for 3 nights comp. I booked this however being a smoker I asked when I was checking in if they have any smoking rooms and they do not however they have “hospitality suites” that have balconies that you can smoke on. $150 extra per night, plus my resort fees, I said great! It was early so I left my bags with the bell desk and went out. I wound up in the ER due to a bladder infection, so I did not get back until late at night so I didn’t see the room until then and was way to sick and exhausted to go down or call and complain/move when I got back. This “suite” was a meeting room with a hard mattress on the floor. No nightstands, no chargers by the bed, not even a clock or tv by the bed. The bathroom was tiny with a shower only with nowhere to hang towels, robe, clothes anything. No place on the single sink counter to put personal items, nothing. Moths flying in the room, spiders in the bed (I have pics of mr spider). When I finally was well enough to go down to tell them that they gave me a room with a mattress on the floor the manager agreed with me that this is more a room for parties or meetings and not a hotel room but would not take off the $150 a night. I told him I will be disputing the charge and leaving reviews he could have cared less what I said. He told me I could either move to a regular room to have the $150 a night removed for the last night or he would give me a real suite for the one night which again I did not have the energy to move, especially for one night. I will NEVER stay here again, I will not gamble here again and I will encourage everyone I know to follow suit. This is not how to treat people at a 5 star hotel. He even went as far as to tell me that the room was comped so I am “only paying the resort fee + the $150 a night” He finally credited me the resort fee, whoopee $150 of $600 to enjoy a “glamping” experience. I am very disappointed. I also was NEVER told by the front desk that this was this type of room, I was told this was an upgrade, a suite and believed it since it was another $150 a night. No one said it’s a bed that folds into the wall and stands 12” above the ground and is as nice as an air mattress. Never was I told there are no drawers or dresser to unpack anything, no night stands, the tv 30 feet from the mattress so it’s very hard to see from the bed and one tiny closet to hang my clothes in. It was also at the very end of the hallway so the balcony was half the size of the other ones.

Bad service.
1) It took an hour to check in, despite a mobile check-in. 2) I asked for a comforter, and I was declined the ability to get it. I asked to speak to a manager about this issue (why I could not have an item that they had two of in my room already) - and I did not receive a call back. 3) I was offered wine as a welcome amenity, and it was never delivered. 4) I had to go back down to check out to make sure Fine Hotel and Resorts credits were properly applied. The resolution for #3 was to waive the resort fee. #1, #2 and #4 did not have resolutions. When paying for a premium hotel, and booking it through a fine hotels and resorts experience, you expect great customer service. You do not expect to have to wait hours to check in and out, refusals to speak with management, and told that the hotel won't do something they could clearly do. People ask for weird requests, and hotels can't do them. There's no reason I couldn't have an additional comforter. I had two kids with me and they were struggling with having enough of the comforter, which they loved. Not being able to have an additional comforter created a negative experience for the kids. Plenty of hotels would have honored this request. The roomy hotel room, the high quality bedding and sofas are to be expected, but my memory of this place will be the horrible customer service and the apathy to meeting customer requests. They charge a premium price but can't use that premium price to staff the hotel to create a premium experience for customers.

Great beds
We were delighted with the location, cleanliness, and surprising quietness of the property. It's large and seriously busy but the staff were without exception lovely to deal with at all times. We'd definately stay again.

Best Rooms in vegas
Amazing rooms at the venetian, extremely spacious and clean. The dinning experience is one of the best on the strip, and if you really wanted to you could spend the whole trip in this one resort. The casino floor is also extremely clean and welcoming.
