Hotel room feels like jail cell. false charges billed at checkout
This hotel is what I would call 'mid' at best. Also double check your invoice after checkout. The hotel charged us an extra $43.74 after checkout for no reason and no explanation. When I called the person said it was for minibar or Line clothes, and I advised her we never touched minibar or clothes. She said they would open an investigation. When I asked if she could give me her name or operator id to confirm the discussion, she said 'No,' and hung up on me. She did the same thing to another person we traveled with. I had to dispute charge on my credit card. We were here as part of a wedding and two other people I know where billed the same extra charge and made no purchases. I know the hotel is supposed to be trendy with the industrial look, but the hallways are dim, the walls are cement in the rooms and hallways, and you feel like you are in a jail cell. We could not wait to leave. We had two beds that were double beds, not queen beds. One family member stayed in a supposed king bed room but her bed was actually a queen bed. The room is small and very close quarters. In my room, for a couple with a teen-ager, (three people total, two beds) we were tripping over each other and banging our head on the TV (hanging on wall corner) and tripping on furniture as we squeezed through to get to bathroom. The beds were not very comfortable. Valet parking was about $54 per day. Plus hotel tax and all of those taxes. I would not recommend this hotel. You can find a better deal elsewhere.

Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here
People in the front desk are very rude and arrogant. They don’t listen to you and they just cut calls on your face if you have any concerns. They are very unprofessional and this is not expected from a 4 star hotel. Please do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. They reuse the shampoos and hand wash bottles for every guest. They don’t give guests new toiletries and they just reuse these bottles.

Great view and location…that’s about it for this wanna be trendy hotel
Girls weekend, we were looking for a fun hotel. Decided on here and it was meh. Other than the, I’ll admit, amazing view, of Hollywood, and also the cool layout of the, albeit smallish room, it’s not worth a repeat. Especially as the shower had no pressure, was overdue for a remodel and the shower head came apart, and the fact that I could literally hear the guy in the room above going to the bathroom. Oh the pool and outdoor restaurant serves amazing food. Ok, good points there!

birthday vacation with my wife
great room, lovely staff, good restaurant. The location is crazy good, lots of amazing food around and I never really realized how much I love LA until this trip. ALSO the curtains in the room are dope as hell and the view is amazing and there are so many dope taco spots. special thanks to richard and kelly for the excellent service.

Bring earplugs. Parking $$$
The city view room is adorable, but.... The street noise will ensure you only sleep an hour at a time after waiting an hour to fall asleep because of a car alarm that was going off for an hour. And then there's the fan...It's loud. We used the auto temp on the thermostat which means the loud fan came on intermittently throughout the night; another disruption. If you can tolerate the fan, it may serve you to block out the street noise. Possible solutions: -Bring ear plugs (or they should be complimentary in the room) -Book an interior room (don't pay for a view) -Keep the fan on rather than auto to drown out the street noise For context, I am a very sound sleeper who is rarely bothered by the typical hallway noise of a typical hotel. I am not a highly sensitive person. If you are a highly sensitive person, you've been warned. The room is fun, quirky, and industrial. It feels like you've entered another country without the hours of air travel and a passport. Waking up with the big window as your view is lovely. The bed is firm and comfortable. We arrived to confusion when there was no visible valet. The front desk was pleasant and helpful and the valet remained confuses coping. To close, I paid a good chunk of money to not feel well rested. Good thing it was only for one night. Updated - 1 week after my stay, I was charged $53.90 for a SINGLE night of valet. The charge was a surprise and seemed unreasonable given the level of service. There is no easy or abundant street parking in the area.
