Not worth the price. The lobby is beautiful, the lounge bar is great, openaire restaurant has fantastic food but the hotel and rooms do not match the cost of the rooms. Rooms are not well cleaned, same with the hallways, rooms are TINY and if your room faces Wilshire be prepared to get zero sleep...very noisy rooms! Overpriced.
Richard, the manager at the hotel, was excellent, gave us a list of recommendations, and was super friendly; the staff was on point and prompt. Handled all issues, if any, and cleaned place. Also family-friendly and has fantastic coffee. Also, the night scene is vibrant at the hotel. Amazing establishment.
Worse hotel in Los Angeles
With the experience that I had with them, I can say that this is the worse hotel in Los Angeles. They have lousy customer service and an expensive hotel without a parking lot. I stayed there for one week, and they didn't care about helping me with the parking lot issue.
Nice hotel in LA Koreatown
It’s always nice to visit LA Koreatown and it’s my second time staying at this hotel. We were able to get an early check-in around noon since our room was ready. We booked it a couple of months ahead for a conference at the hotel and used the conference’s rate to get the room for a two night three day stay. Our room on the 9th floor was nice, but double pane windows and thicker walls would help a lot with traffic noise and neighboring rooms beside, below, and above us. Other than that, a pleasant stay with tons of restaurants and bars walking distance, Hmart two blocks away, and many more. Wish they would update the gym equipment, the same since my first stay in 2017 but this time around there were two treadmills that weren’t working.
Rude staff. The walls are unpainted it’s like a prison cell with a large window. Unkind, inconsistent, unfriendly staff. A cold experience generally Such a shame as it could be so wonderful with more paint and nicer people working there that actually care about their guests. Very loud - no sleep. Continual traffic, Siri a, yelling outside.
