Apr 15, 2026Perfect paradise getaway
This was the perfect paradise getaway! I took a quick 4 day solo trip and didn't even need to leave the resort! The food and bars were great and the beach was one of a kind! Everyone was friendly and helpful! I would definitely visit again!

Apr 14, 2026WORST experience of my life.
My daughter and myself stayed 1 night for a cheer competition near by. I eventually had to call security around 11pm when the screening, cussing, banging on doors, and large crowd of people outside did not calm down. Once security came through (I assume) it got quiet for about 15 min before it all started again. I was getting very “aggressive” and to the point I was afraid to look out my window. I was awake until 3am. Had I felt safe enough to leave with my daughter, we would have went and slept in our car. The staff at the front desk were so kind to refund my resort fee and parking, and said their security staff just can’t keep everyone in line. Unfortunately I later found out a cheer family on our team stayed two weeks prior and left two days early because of the same reason. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE. during the day there were large crowds twerking in almost nothing. (LITTERALLY pasties and a thong) to the DJ on the pool deck. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel and I was absolutely embarrassed for them. The sad thing is, we are local-ish from Pensacola and travel and stay near by a lot. I was excited to finally stay there. NEVER AGAIN. Now, I have to try and get a refund from booking.com (I was told they could not help with any refund because I didn’t book directly through them.

I didn’t like that it was basically a hotel room and we could have stayed in an Airbnb for a lot cheaper with more accommodations. Also the hot tub stayed full with children that weren’t supervised. It states in on the rules that all children under a certain age are to be in the hot tub with an adult but there was a girl 4-5 in the hot tub with no parents around and that happened everyday with a lot of very young children. The resort itself is very nice and in a very convenient location. The staff were all very nice and accommodating.

Great Beach Time
Brittany has made the Island Resort my go-to spot for a fun time is the Destin area. She booked my reservations and assigned me a room with an insane ocean view. Brittany delivered on everything we discussed and more. I truly enjoyed every minute at the resort. Again, a special shoutout to Brittany for being an outstanding company representative!

Awesome All Around
Awesome accommodations, food and service. The beach was amazing and tons of activities for the kiddos. Will definitely be returning.
