We want to thank Derrick, the security guard who helped us when our car battery was completely drained and wouldn’t start. He assisted us with a jump and was patient, professional, and willing to help when we needed it. We really appreciated his assistance and the extra effort he put in to help us get back on the road.

Awesome place for Families with Children!
Everything here was fantastic! My kids had a really great time and this resort is totally worth value especially with the children! The highlight for me was the service provided by Sebastian at the Springs! I really needed a mommy moment to unwind.Sebastian was super attentive, friendly and told me so much about his love for Florida! A really cool Guy! Looking forward to seeing the resort again in Spring. Happy Holidays! TG!

A large resort that could use some maintenance, but still a great place for families. The pools are heated, but unfortunately the children’s splash pad was freezing cold. It was too cold for small children to use it, so it was usually empty. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely Resort Experience, Dining Options Could Be Improved
There are several outstanding positives to The Grove Resort. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the resort offers an excellent range of amenities, including multiple pools, waterpark slides, the FlowRider, boat rides on the lake, and an arcade. We felt very safe throughout our stay, and the resort was quiet and peaceful at night. The reception team were consistently excellent—always friendly, professional, and willing to help. The staff assisting with booking experiences and theme park visits were also very knowledgeable and efficient. The location is ideal, with the Disney theme parks just a 15-minute drive away. We used the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service several times, which allowed us to avoid the $35 daily Disney parking fee. The shuttle drivers were friendly, and the service was punctual and reliable. Guests simply need to book their preferred day and park in advance at reception. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious with a good selection of in room amenities. We had a couple of maintenance issues when we first arrived but they were quickly resolved by staff. Now for a few negatives. Unfortunately, our experience at the onsite Valencia restaurant was disappointing. We waited a long time to be acknowledged for a table, even as other guests who arrived later were seated before us. After being shown to a table, there was another lengthy wait before any staff approached. The restaurant was not particularly busy, yet service appeared disorganised, and several guests around us left due to delays. We eventually chose to leave as well, which was unfortunate on our final night. With limited dining options available in the resort, we had to drive elsewhere. We did check with reception staff to see if there was a staff shortage but they confirmed they were fully staffed that evening. Prices at the Alfresco Market were also surprisingly high. After a long flight, we hoped to enjoy a bottle of wine in our room, but the lowest-priced option was $38 for a basic bottle. For the rest of our stay, we avoided the market due to the significant price difference compared with local stores. As hotel guests, we expected more reasonable pricing for onsite amenities. It was also unfortunate that guests were effectively required to purchase food from the Longboard Bar & Grill while using the outdoor pools and water slides. The food was more expensive than local restaurants, and it did not feel fair that we could neither bring our own refreshments nor access more appropriately priced options while enjoying the hotel facilities. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at The Grove Resort, though we wish the onsite dining options and pricing had felt a little more reasonable.

Sebastian spring bar
Shout out to my boy Sebastian. At the springs bar tremendous service made me and my wife feel like home. Would recommend checking my boy out if you come to spring bar. You definitely won’t regret it.
