In 2020 the property repositioned Uncle Andy’s to a fresh new location in the Don Boutiques, and enhanced the experience into a full market experience offering Lickity Split Ice Creams, Shakes, Pastries, and illy Gourmet Coffee, as well as grab and go food and beverage items including beer, wine and spirits, a fun candy wall for kids of all ages, and convenient sundries. Dec 27, 2025OVERPRICED, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, TERRIBLE ROOM CONDITIONS
This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life. Ive stayed in super 8s in better condition. Save yourself ALOT OF MONEY AND DO NOT STAY HERE. There are far to many disappointments I experienced (only being here 6hrs) to list. Place is disgusting, food is garbage (Social restaurant) others took 45mins and we canceled or order and left the property. If you like OVERPRICED, sub standard service, dealing with a classless, uncouth staff and piss poor customer service. Then this is it. They single handly ruined the vacation I hd planned with my 14yr old daughter. They should be ashamed of themselves.

The Don is my favorite hotel in St. Pete
The Don never disappoints. This is the place we keep coming back to over and over again because they deliver every time. The kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the ability to accommodate all the guests needs is why we love it here so much. The first person you meet when you check in always has a huge smile on their face, and the valet staff are the best an happy to help. The beach staff, especially Van, Sofia and Brittany have taken such great care of us each day of our trip. They are thoughtful and attentive and remember the small details that make a guest feel extra special. If you plan on hosting an event (like my wedding I had here in April 2024) the event staff is there to make your dreams come true. I cannot recommend The Don enough. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back!

Great family vacation at an amazing resort. We spent a week enjoying the sun, the beach the pool and all amenities
We spent a week at the Don - amazing resort, the pool the beach, the amenities. Shoutout to Van at the beach who always took excellent care of us setting up umbrellas and lounge chairs. This is our 13th stay at the resort for new year celebration only interrupted by the hurricane close out last year. Love our time back at the paradise.

Exceptional Check-In Experience That Set the Tone for Our Stay
From the moment we arrived at The Don CeSar, the experience was outstanding and it truly started at check-in. Nick welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism that it immediately set the stage for a fantastic stay. He was incredibly informative, attentive, and made us feel genuinely valued rather than just another guest. What impressed me even more was that the service didn’t stop there. I had to call down a couple of times for additional assistance, and Nick personally responded each time. The help was immediate, seamless, and completely stress-free. Everything was handled with ease and care. The level of attention and thoughtfulness made the hotel feel more like an intimate boutique experience rather than a large resort. I left the reception area feeling genuinely delighted and that feeling carried throughout our stay. Truly blown away by the service. Nick is an absolute asset to The Don CeSar.
