    BEST Hotel in Cabo

    This is our FOURTH time coming to The Cape and it gets better and better every time. The service is incredible - especially at the pool - where you're going to want to spend the entire day. I want to shout out the AMAZING team - who are so friendly, helpful & FUN = Aldo & Gustavo, our servers, Angel, Ronnel, Luis at the pool concierge, and Luis at the bar - THANK YOU! We eloped on this trip - and the concierge Guillermo, worked with our wedding coordinators to make the elopement seamless & unforgettable. We dined at Manta - you MUST GET the Korean BBQ chicken- best thing on the menu. The hotel is special because of the architecture, food, and pool scene, of course- but what really sets it apart are the people. Everyone here is incredible and lovely. We are so grateful.

    Beautiful property but a failure to execute

    Pros - beautiful property in a fantastic location. The views are to die for. Lovely beach and friendly staff make this easy to enjoy. Rooms are very nice and well kept. Cons - food is pricey here, which is fine except the quality and execution is poor. So poor in fact that we ended up eating out most nights. Drinks are very average, would expect higher quality trained bar staff. The much lauded sunset viewing Rooftop Bar was closed every single night for wedding events, so be warned this is apparently quite common. So disappointing. Overall - there is a distinct lack of execution which would make this a 5 star experience. I wanted to love this hotel but there is a reason it doesnt rank in the top hotels in the area. For the price there are much better hotels in the area.

    10/10 Service & Food

    Juan, Fernando, & Javier were an absolute pleasure! They gave us the best recommendations for food and drink and were 10/10 for service. Truly gave us an experience here and above and beyond for photos. The tequila shrimp, tuna tartar, & churros were out of this world!

    Magical Location, Staff and Service

    Our room and the view from our room was absolutely breathtaking! The "welcome tequila bottle" was a very nice bonus to the beginning of our vacation. I would highly recommend a dinner at the Manta Restaurant. Make sure to go at sunset! The house cleaning service was impeccable. Along with the turn down service every evening and "the nightly tajin treat". Thank you! Brenda and Karina they are perfecto!! The view from the pool and the beach has to be the best in Cabo! The pool staff made us "feel at home" every day! They crafted delicious cocktails; the service and hospitality were over the top perfection! I highly recommend trying anything and everything on poolside lunch menu! We fell in love with everyone at the pool! *Luis, Fabian, Lenny, Hugo, Gustavo Raul, Angel!! They are truly amazing! Without hesitation, I would recommend The Cape to everyone! We can't wait to come back!

    The best pool team in Cabo

    We can’t say enough about the amazing pool attendant, Louis, at the Cape Thompson Hotel in Cabo! His friendly nature and incredible warmth truly made our stay unforgettable. Louis was always checking in with us, ensuring we had everything we needed while keeping the pool area pristine. His attention to detail along with his colleagues; Lenny, Fananda, Raul and Hugo did not go unnoticed, and it added a special touch to our experience. If you're staying at the Cape Thompson, be sure to say hi to Louis and the rest of the pool team. They are true gems!
