Second stay as perfect as the first!

I would give this hotel and its staff 6 stars if I could which is why we keep returning! We stayed during February half term and as always staff are extremely professional, spa is lovely, breakfasts amazing. We were also incredibly lucky enough to be upgraded to a double queen room again. We also got to try the newly opened ‘The Court’ (formerly Peacock Alley) for delicious cocktails.

    Highly recommended

The Caledonian was a great place to stay. Just outside of Old Town but walkable to most everything including the Royal Mile, train station, Edinburgh Castle, restaurants. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodations were excellent. Breakfast was included and had a very good buffet.

    Best location in Edinburgh

Excellent staff and service with the best location in Edinburgh. Food is also very good and they have a Spa which we didn’t use due to time reasons. If you want to be close to the Castle , at the centre of all things good in Edinburgh then the Caledonian is your best choice. Wee bit pricey but you get what you pay for as the saying goes.

Incredible stay for a romantic weekend!

The stay we had at the Caledonian last weekend was absolutely fantastic. The staff could not do enough for us across our stay. The facilities were great and the cocktails at the bar before dinner were even better! The bed was also incredibly comfortable. Thank you to all at the hotel for making our stay as enjoyable as it was! :)
