    Great location and accommodations

    The Alex is a great location for exploring Dublin. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. The rooms were quiet, roomy, and comfortable. I appreciated having a choice of pillow.

    Spacious Rooms, Great Downtown Views, Easy Access & Quiet

    This hotel sits just outside of the hustle and bustle but less than 10-15 minutes (walking) from almost everything (or an easy walk to transportation). The staff was great, the on-site restaurant was lovely. Just steps from several pubs and restaurants.

    Best service ever!! Went for a quick lunch at The Carriage and got completely spoiled by the high quality of their food and professional service, staff was really attentive while we enjoyed the best fish & Ships in town!! “I’ll be back”

    Lovely Experience

    What a wonderful experience. We were upgraded and left chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary. Will stay at The Alex every time in Dublin. 10/10

    Where Style Meets the Warmest Welcome

    We had a fantastic stay at The Alex Hotel in Dublin. From the moment we arrived, the experience stood out thanks to the genuinely warm and personable staff. Everyone we encountered was incredibly attentive, friendly, and took the time to engage with us, which made a real difference. A special mention goes to the receptionist, Samiyra, who gave us the warmest welcome and set the tone for our entire stay. The team (Maria, Abdul and Isaac) was also very helpful during breakfast and dinner ensuring everything ran smoothly and making us feel well looked after . The hotel itself is stylish and thoughtfully designed. Our room was spotless, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and everything felt clean and well maintained. It was always a joy to return to the hotel after a day out in the city. Overall, a truly enjoyable experience—we would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it.
