Lovely hotel, room was spacious and beautiful, breakfast on the morning was really nice, good to see the Clonakilty black pudding featuring. front desk staff were great, I was able to organise a late checkout which was great. I was well looked after by Alvaro

Female traveler : Will stay again
The staff (especially Karen!) went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. I was offered a complimentary coffee upon arrival and was eventually lent an adaptor for a day after mine was lost. As a female solo traveler, I felt extremely safe. I also loved the cafe downstairs and would definitely stay here again. Cheers!

Wonderful stay!
The room was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The staff was super friendly and the location was convenient to everything! I will say that we were right next to an office building so be careful leaving your curtains open during the day. Overall I would stay again!

Great Hotel & Amazing staff
Bed was big, room was spacious, pillows fluffy and shower relaxing. The staff very friendly and helpful. Thankyou Alvard and Karen Myshell for welcoming us and helping us find our way around Dublin. You made are stay in Dublin so very special.

The Best Time At The Alex!
Had an absolutely amazing experience staying at The Alex for the 4 days a friend and I were visiting another who had recently moved to Dublin. Location: Very walkable to a lot of major sites in the city center but just outside it where you feel removed from the touristy spots and noise. It was also right in the middle of those major sites and where our friend lived so was great for our trip purposes. Staff: We were greeted every time we walked by the desk asking if we needed help or more information as they were able to accommodate a few requests we had while there which was great especially the later check out on our last day along with holding our bags so we did not have to wheel them around. Room: VERY SPACIOUS by Europe's standards which was so nice to see. The room was clean with all the bells and whistles you could want with everything feeling really modern and tastefully decorated in my opinion. Amenities: We utilized The Carriage Restaurant for lunch on two occasions and we stunned at how good the food was for being in a hotel! Highly recommend taking advantage of it for a quick quality bite either the day you get there, you leave, or both. The experience overall was one that I recommend especially if you do not want to break the bank but you do want to feel safe and have a wonderful experience while in the city with amenities nearby and friendly staff to help with whatever you might need!
