    Below par

    Stayed here for my birthday and engagement. Staff where friendly but lack of communication between. All requests fell on deaf ears and had to do everything myself from buying champagne and getting ice buckets to waking up loads neighbours to tell them to turn down TV past midnight.

    Andreea was serving in the residents restaurant area in December 2024, on a day when town was very busy and cold she was wonderful - she made us feel right at home and she had great recommendations - we got the best table and as I said already felt right at home thank you

    Luxurious Stay

    Very clean and beautiful room. We loved the amenities, the little things make all the difference. At the reception, Alvaro was super helpful and kind. The location of the hotel is perfect to see downtown Dublin. Hope to stay at The Alex again!

    Service!!!

    Wagner was the highlight of the trip. You will never have a bad moment being served here. Wagner made the experience the little extra. Great experience and fantastic property the restaurant was beautiful with fantastic service. Location is central and staff were amazing.

    Friendly staff, comfy bed and great location

    Great stay recently at the Alex. My partner and I were staying overnight in Dublin for work and had booked the Alex due to its location and will definitely be back. Received a complimentary upgrade on arrival which was unexpected but the friendliness of the staff, the quality and comfort of the bed and the shower ticked all the boxes. Walking distance to Grafton St. helped us finish off some Christmas shopping too.
