Best vacation ever
We loved it. Amazing views every room. Staff are all super friendly. The only bad part is there was rocks in front of our room but it was a quick walk to the other beach areas. Divi is the sister resort which is right next door and the shuttle takes you there. We loved the divi beach, no seaweed and clear water with very little waves.

Location: Fantastic Beach Experience: Exceptional. Short stretches of beaches in front of your rooms. Almost like private Food: Good to Excellent, Except buffet that is below average. Reservations are highly recommended. Most good restaurants are not included in the all-inclusive and the ones that are included are hard to get reservations. Coffee: Joke Rooms: Pathetic, very small, dingy, broken plumbing, horrible small toilets Customer Service: Pathetic, no one picks up the phone. Are usually rude, downright refuse service with no explanation. In Summary, if you are outdoor person who doesn’t care much for rooms or customer service or for food access, then this might be a good fit. Otherwise stay away from this place.

Apr 07, 2026Skip the Tamjarin and head to the Divi or palm beach
Ugh. I really wanted to love this place. I’ve been 6x and I don’t think I’ll be coming back. It’s nothing like it used to be. First, the drinking situation. If you’re at an all inclusive part of the draw is getting unlimited drinks. I don’t understand how there aren’t any wait staff on the beach? Or really around any of the pools ever. Maybe an occasional late afternoon there is ONE by the main pool. You cannot even get a drink before 11am. And the staff is really not friendly. The bartenders were out of everything we ordered and really didn’t even care that they were. The lines at the bar were so long every day. Honestly everyone was just rude. Second, it needs a major update at the tamajrin. It’s just very run down. The kids club, while the people there are amazing, the space is borderline gross. I’m unsure why they wouldn’t update it. The rooms were okay, but the main bar needs to be renovated and the main pool. The Divi is soooo much nicer. The buffer spot is also just gross. The waitstaff there is also inattentive. Lastly, yes, all the rooms are on the beach. The views are gorgeous. If you had intentions of just hanging at your room and just walking in for breakfast; lunch and dinner maybe I would recommend this place. I mean it’s small enough for kids to run around which is nice. If you are just looking to sit on the beach and read a book, I’d maybe recommend this place. But goodness it has really gone downhill.
