Mar 31, 2026Dan Jack (plus Sales & Catering) "knocked it out of the park"!! (for our convention )
Our experience at the Swissotel, and our experience with Dan Jack and his Sales & Catering teams, were absolutely WONDERFUL !! From the many months of planning the American Bandmasters Association Convention to the actual week-long event, all of it was fun , due to Dan Jack shepherding us through the process! The food and the selections provided, were delicious and served , beautifully! The meeting rooms , large ballroom and multiple smaller rooms, were set up correctly and on time! The Banquet for 260+ folks was fantastic in every way, as was the Past Presidents/Board/Significant Others Dinner in the Eleve room! Dan and crew set up rooms with chairs and tables and built up risers needed for meetings and entertainers! Dan coordinated with the Harris Theater for numerous band concerts, personnel, rooms, busses, to make the events run on time, and well!! The hotel rooms were gorgeous, clean, and all had a view! Starting the "planning process" was a bit daunting for over a year, but Dan Jack , and his Sales and Catering Crews, made everything run smoothly and made it FUN!! Wish we could have our convention at the Swissotel, every year!!

A wonderful experience to remember
We have had the privilege of staying at the Swissotel on two occasions. First as independent travelers and most recently as the part of our annual trip to the American Bandmasters Association Convention. Both experiences were first rate. The location, amenities, staff, food and every aspect of the hotel experiences have been spectacular. Our responsibility for organizing the ABA Convention was a pleasant experience due to the outstanding service and support we received from our hotel liaison Dan Jack. He was organized, knowledgeable and always willing to work to provide our convention attendees with the best possible experience. Dan took great pride in making every detail of our time in Chicago as enjoyable as possible. He was always professional and always willing to listen to our requests and even suggest ways that we might improve on our ideas while still understanding our budgetary realities. This convention is held in a different city each year and there is no doubt that because of the Swissotel and Dan Jack working with our organization and the hotel staff that this convention will long be remembered as spectacular. The facility is gorgeous, the staff is accommodating and Dan Jack is a one of a kind professional whose top priority is ensuring that hotel guests leave having enjoyed their time at the Swissotel. One of my favorite hotels in Chicago
I had two stays with you this month (check-ins on 3/6 & 3/27) and both were great. Emina, Symoun, and Mari Paul took great care of me. This is one of my favorite places to stay in Chicago. The great views help me to both relax and concentrate.
