The property is open during construction. construction noise and dust are a problem. Also they have begun charging for everything. You pay for all inclusive but they charge for room service, they charge for beech umbrellas This was one of my favorite places to stay but this time I was surrounded by people with their hands out waiting for more and more money. I feel bad that their economy is slower but I'm not coming back.

Great Family Vacation
Great hotel. Every room has an ocean view, the staff were all amazing. The rooms are clean, comfortable and lovely. It is a quieter resort, so not necessarily for the party crowd, but great for couples and families. The food is all a la carte and fresh which is a nice thing when it comes to an all inclusive, buffets get boring and that is not an issue at the Sunset Plaza. The hotel is also walking (25 mins) distance to the Malecon which is very nice as we like to walk as a family. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a higher end all inclusive vacation in Puerto Vallarta!

Great Escape
We had a wonderful stay this week. Food was good and the people here are really wonderful. We recommend Sunset Plaza as one of our happy place
