Excellent staff and service, poor food and property
The staff and service are fantastic, they treat you as though you're at a 5 star resort even though it is only a 2 star. The food was a huge disappointment, and the resort is in a serious state of disrepair with hazardous conditions needing immediate repair e.g. condition of pool. Again, staff are fantastic, our tips reflected the service we received from them.

Subpar
It was okay. Clearly not geared towards kids needs as the hours of lunch buffet were 1:30pm and the slides/spray park don’t open until 12pm. My kids are up early and wanted to enjoy it but had to wait. Also hungry for lunch well before 1:30pm. Kids club was okay but not really for kids older than 8, but then my 10yr old is too young for the teen club they have. Just not what I expected UVC to support.

Girls trip
We have been staying at the Sunscape for about 15 years, several times a year. The reasons we keep coming back are: AMAZING staff(Miguel on the Beach, Miguel server in Buffet, Francia server on Beach, all of the Bell men, Omar the bartender along with all of the other staff. We are literally treated like Queens and so appreciate the attentive staff. Our rooms have always been clean. We love the Sunscape for its affordability as it allows us to venture off resort to explore the great food options in PV. I love the breakfast, especially the made to order omelet station! We found there to be plenty of variety at the buffet for other meals and also enjoyed the Tiki Taco and the Italian restaurant. The Sunscape is our home away from home!

Comfortable stay
We had a great stay at Sunscape. We enjoyed the views and the food. We’d like to thank Angel y Daniel who helped with our luggage and with getting a taxi. We’d also like to thank Alejandro from the Da Mario restaurant for being very attentive and kind.

Awesome trip!
Great service from all staff. Everyone was super friendly and it made for an excellent stay. Wendy at the omelette bar at breakfast is the best! And Christina provided all the mimosas I could want. Resort provided all the activities we could have wanted, volleyball, games, karaoke!!
