    Kaleidoscope buffet - Carlos amazing service!

    Carlos was amazing, so was Martin, they took such great care of us at dinner. Highly recommend!

    Find somewhere else to go.

    The worst vacation experience—a waste of time and money. After having to get two different rooms due to things like no hot water to the room, perhaps the most disconcerting part was the help. The general attitude of the help was that they were being bothered by the guests. For example, when we first arrived at 10pm due to a delayed flight and quickly found that our room had problems, the help was more concerned with us potentially having had used the room (we had not) and that they would have to re-clean it than actually helping us. The front staff argued with me that because it was so late we had already used the room for some time, and I had to convince them we had just checked in due to our late flight so that was not the case. They still had us stay in that room for the night, check out in the morning and store our belongings, and then check in again in the afternoon. We did not ask for special treatment, like an upgrade or refund for the inconvenience, and only wanted a habitable room for our family, and yet it felt like we were being punished. To top everything off, half of our family got sick with vomiting, and missed part of the vacation as a result.

    Too crowded, and beware of the food!

    I was there with my husband and my brother in early February 2026. This resort is nice but has WAY too many rooms for the amenities. You can't ever get a chair at the beach or pool unless you're up at 6am (even 6:30am is too late!). We had to wait 30-40 minutes to get into any restaurant, including the buffet. Also if food sits for a while at a meal and doesn't get eaten, they try to serve it again at the next meal. I ate a chicken burger at the BBQ at lunch. When they put it on the grill I could tell it was definitely pre-cooked (the cheese on top was melted), but it was cold. I should have known better. I should not have eaten it. I was hungry and not thinking. I ended up with severe food poisoning and spent the next 2 days in the hospital (the resort doctor visited me in my room and called an ambulance, said it was "mandatory" that I go to the hospital because I was dangerously dehydrated and my blood pressure was too low). So I missed several days of my vacation being very sick and in the hospital. Even when I returned to the hotel 2 days later, I still wasn't feeling well and couldn't eat anything until we flew home. It was a very scary experience. We have been traveling to Caribbean resorts (DR, Cuba, Mexico) for over 15 years and we've never had a problem until now. We will not return.

    Amazing experience.

    We've had an amazing time. All day activities where amazing, especially the zumba class with Saloney Ginger. Great pools all around the resort.
