Big NO to drinks on disposable plastic cups. Needs extra people. Staff were friendly. Still a budget friendly resort but this time it seems expensive because of the cons.

Dec 22, 2025Fun at Sunscape Coco Punta Cana
We had a lovely time at Sunscape Coco Punta Cana. We had the best time with Capuchino, the entertainment director. He was so friendly and so much fun. His energy is infectious and he really added a lot of excitement to our experience there. He was fantastic at getting the crowd up dancing and other poolside activities. Thank you Capuchino for making our trip extra exciting!!!!

The sea, beach, pool, and bars were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful, which was a big plus. However, there were many issues that negatively affected our stay. The rooms felt very outdated, with torn curtains, and basic toiletries were missing — we had to ask for shampoo, and there was no conditioner or shower gel provided. Housekeeping would knock and open the door almost immediately, without giving us time to respond. This happened early in the morning (around 8–9 a.m.), including once when I was undressed, which was very uncomfortable. The dining area was poorly maintained. The tables, dishes, and drinking glasses were often dirty and had visible streaks, and the children’s high chairs were sticky and not properly cleaned. The food selection was very limited, especially for children. There were mostly fast-food options, and we would have preferred healthier choices such as soups, potatoes, and baked meat suitable for kids. Another major issue was the aggressive promotion of the membership. It was almost impossible to pass by without being approached. We were not clearly informed about what it was and were told it would take only 20 minutes, but it ended up taking around 4 hours. If such a system exists, it should be clearly explained in advance so guests can decide whether they want to participate. Overall, despite the beautiful beach and friendly staff, the number of negative experiences was disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to friends.

Staff was super friendly
Nicolas at pool side bar Sharky's is super friendly to all guest and amazing. Always greets people with a welcoming smile. Can't forgot to mention Victor at the guest services. Amazing person, approachable and always went out of his way ensure our experience there was amazing!

Nicolas the bartender is amazing
Nicolas is an amazing bartender. He is very kind and efficient. He always puts a smile on your face. Over all the drinks are amazing and the company that he provides is a 10/10.
