    Just not my cup of tea

    While the facility was nice the location and atmosphere was poor. If you get a room on the lagoon side the road noise is bad it's just not pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. The room was nice and clean and the bed and pillows were actually goodu just a lot of road noise. It may have been how crowded the facility was but it's almost impossible to relax because it's just a constant stream of people. There is very limited shade. I had to get up and on the beach by 5am to get a spot with shade. The beach is very beautiful just crowded and very limited shade. The pool is small and crowded with little shade as well. Of the restaurants we tried the only options with good food were the Asian food, taco stand and burger stand the later 2 are only for lunch else the food was just bad. If you have access to the 6th floor vip lounge they have good snack options we used for dinner instead of the restaurants. If your looking for a kid friendly very crowded nice facility with bad food and a beautiful beach with little shade this is your spot. I won't be back. It was a failed experiment for me going back to playacar.

    Brillant stay in April 2026

    We stayed as a family of 5 for 11 nights in April and we had a wonderful stay. Staff across the board were very attentive and friendly. I specifically wanted to call out the functional training class (I did with Ivan) which was a great challenge and explorer/kids club which provided loads of activities (mainly for my 7 year old). One suggestion would be to open the teen club to children over 10 as my 11 year old son has outgrown kids club and would have loved it but was too young to use it

    Fun vacation

    This was our 2nd time staying here and everything was excellent from the staff to the food. My kids ages 6 and 8 enjoyed the kids club . The staff there is amazing . The hotel can use an update on the exterior of the building with some cracks but overall still a great place to stay , especially if you have young kids
