One of the nicest resorts i've been to in Mexico. The food was terrific, lots of choices. The staff from top to bottom are absolutely terrific, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I can't say enough about the VIP lounge on the sixth floor, Armando and Jesus were so nice and friendly, how is with smile. I learned so much about Mexico from chatting with Armando, I can't recommend this resort enough, will definitely be back next year!

This resort is the gateway to many possibilities. Friendships are made here. Great atmosphere!
The building is very open, free flowing air with no front wall to close it up. Friendly smiling face await your arrival. A well staffed front desk is ready to accommodate your stay. The staff throughout the property is helpful, friendly, and appreciative. The rooms are well stocked and kept clean daily. The bartenders await your requests and eagerly fulfill them, my favorite of them all was and is “Jesus” this man is quick, attentive, and always welcoming. He knows his bar well, is very knowledgeable and easy to make requests with. The pools, and the beach speak for themselves, I mean this place is paradise. Recreational activities are thoughtfully and creatively prepared to keep your interests peaked. The restaurants are all fully stocked, very clean, and again all the staff let you know, YOU are their priority. Drink glasses are always filled, empty plates are rapidly removed from your tables, every request is addressed. You may even make a friend here, as I did. Our waiter, “Miguel” was always excited to greet us. His ability to remember each person’s personal tastes or even anticipate some requests was astonishing. He was and is very personable, he gets to know you. He makes you feel at home, when we entered the restaurant it’s like he was waiting for us to show up, instead of the hostess seating us, he waived us in like old friends. On our last day I had breakfast with Miguel, we shared interesting stories, laughter and yes when I got up to leave, I hugged him goodbye and teared up upon my exit. For all your off property recreational activities, Amstar has its own office in the lobby and is staffed late into the evening to help you plan an adventure. Sunscape is a place I would definitely return again.

Hipolito at the Mexican restraunt was amazing. Probably the best waiter we’ve ever had including Chicago restraunts where we live. He was extremely kind and we hope he gets a promotion or something similar asap. Guerrmo the somliar was awesome for the tequila tasting he clearly really enjoys what he does and showed us a great time. The resort was overall cool but some of the cuts of steak/beef were meh and the general store was extremely stupidly overpriced, the sunscreen was $40 and sunglasses were $150. At that point just Uber anything else you would need instead of going there.

Great resort
Amazing resort, food was so good, staff were so helpful and friendly. Its a small resort , only draw back only one pool , so there was a lot of children in the adult pool with their parents instead of the kids pool. Resort was so clean. Loved our experience there
