Perfect
Stayed for 2 nights celebrating my husbands 40th surprise trip to Rome We stayed in apartment near the Colosseum first 2 nights then headed to the Vatican City to stay in this hotel. We arrived at the hotel earlier than expected and surprisingly had been upgraded to a balcony and room with a view! Wow it was better than we could have expected. This was a great addition to our trip. After the amazing views of the Colosseum in our first 2 nights, having views from the balcony of the St Basilica topped it off! We couldn't be happier. The hotel considering how close it is to St Peter's Square it was surprisingly quiet. We didnt get much sleep our first two night but slept like babies here! The room was immaculately clean and smelt gorgeous. The little extras in our room, chocolates, pillow service, bathrobes and slippers made it feel like a luxury stay. The house keepers even cleaned our room after we had gone back for lunch in our room one day which was a nice addition. The whole hotel was beautiful. Every staff member we encounter where so helpful and accommodating. The reception staff 10/10 great customer service. We did not eat in the hotel itself but wish we had, but with our tight schedule we did not have time. We will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and to anyone visiting Rome. Thank you for amazing stay!

Perfect Stay in Rome – Exceptional Service & Thoughtful Touches
We’ve just enjoyed a fantastic weekend at Starhotels Michelangelo in Rome and couldn’t be happier with our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always on hand to help with anything we needed. Our room was spotless and beautifully clean, with an exceptionally comfortable bed that made it so easy to relax after a busy day exploring the city. The hotel itself is in a brilliant location, just a short walk from the Vatican, which made getting around so convenient. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Everything was fresh, well presented, and set us up perfectly for the day ahead. We were especially touched by a thoughtful surprise from the staff, as we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. They presented him with a gift card and a tiramisu with a candle at breakfast, which was such a lovely and memorable gesture. It really showed how attentive and caring the team are. We had such a wonderful weekend and wouldn’t hesitate to return. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome!

This was my first trip to Rome and I was solo, part of a larger tour group. I was very pleasantly surprised to find myself in such a nice hotel and location. This hotel is essentially around the corner from St Peter’s square which made it easy to explore the area. The room was nicely decorated with updated outlets and plenty of places to charge a travelers many devices. The staff were lovely from check-in to check-out. Maria, one of the concierge staff, was quite helpful and had ready answers to whatever question I had. The restaurant had a nice variety of breakfast options that were well cooked and plentiful. The evening dinner service was equally as good with nice options as did the bar. I would have no problem recommending or staying at this location when I return to Rome.

Great hotel - Friendly staff - nice area.
Stayed at the Starhotel Michelangelo 3 nights in January. Fantastic Hotel! Rooms very clean, comfortable beds, nice and safe central area. View of the St. Peters dome from our balcony. Best of all: Friendly staff and smiles on everyone’s face. Will be back.
