First (and great) experience of a Springhill Suites
I was very impressed by this hotel. It began with a friendly, helpful, and professional check in. Our double queen room was spacious with a seperate sitting area. I really like how the toilet was in a separate room from the main bathroom. Breakfast was high quality and well stocked in a bright, airy dining area with plenty of tables and chairs. We didn’t use the bar, but that seemed a nice touch. Location is fine enough for Aurora with easy access to the I-225 and I-70. There are plenty of food options a short drive away.

Great stay with great employees.
We were going to visit a relative who lives in Colorado, while we live in Missouri. She ended up being in the hospital for surgery. She was not able to go home yet, so we had to cancel our original reservation in Sterling, CO and find a hotel in Aurora, CO. It was late afternoon when I called. The man was so kind when he heard our story. He was able to get us a room. Hayden was the clerk on duty and was so friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Devin was the bartender and was great. Breakfast was very good with plenty of variety.

Hotel near hospital
We were here as we had some business in the hospital, and it was conveniently located. Staff was friendly and helpful with check in. My room didn't have any soap in it, but the quickly got some for me. There is a nice lobby, but the bar was closed due to lack of staffing. The room was nice, quiet and comfortable. It had an interesting layout with a desk/couch in a sitting area that was separated with a half divider from the main sleeping area, and then two small bathrooms (one with a shower, and one with a toilet) which was an interesting division (but could be convenient for multiple people). Overall it was a comfortable stay - we were leaving too early for breakfast, but the coffee in the lobby was fine (and there was a Starbucks nearby some of us went to in the morning), and there are restaurants/complexes that aren't a far drive.

Worst front desk experience ever
Very disappointed with management. My daughter and her two special needs sons arrived late on weekday night with both boys scheduled to have procedures the next morning at Children's Hospital. Their reservation had been secured with a debit card online. Upon checking in the hotel's system would not accept her debit card or the two others presented by her husband, despite both of their banks indicating that the funds had been released to the facility. I was then called and offered to provide them with my Marriott Bonvoy credit card number. The unsympathetic clerk and her unyielding night manager catagorically refused to take the information over the phone, stating that company policy prohibited them from doing so. I know this was BS since I'd provided similar information to this same facility several times over the years. This forced me to drive a half hour from home to the hotel just to present them with a physical credit card. I felt this was uncompromising and totally unacceptable, souring me to the entire hotel chain. Needless to say, despite its convenient proximity to the medical center, I will definitely think twice before we book at this facility again.
