Feb 27, 2026Great value and very close to Universal
This hotel is basic, but offers good value, clean, stocked with basic necessities, ample charging units. The Bagel Breakfast is good and there is no resort or parking fees. Nearby restaurants make it a great choice. There is also a nice pool area. We choose a room on the parking lot side as they are quieter than the opposite due to major roadway that runs along the backside of property. Close to I-4.

Caution is warranted with this staff. They have been known to unjustly accuse guests of missing items that were never in the room and bill your card without prior notification. To protect yourself, always request a staff member to accompany you during both check-in and check-out. This simple step can help you avoid being taken advantage of.

Worst experience
Very disappointed in the entire experience. Arrive to find the hotel under construction. The elevator didn't work upon our arrival so we had to carry our suitcases to the third floor. The worst part was that most of the landing on the second floor was occupied by buckets of paint, making it very difficult to get by. We arrived to our suite to find no coffee pot, cups, ice bucket or microwave, all of which were included in the booking description. When I went down to the desk to inquire, I was told they were transitioning to Spark by Hilton. The young man at the desk gave me a garbage bag to put ice in because they no longer had ice buckets. Of course there was no mention on the Choice site when I booked. I also tried using the iron that was in the room. Water just ran out the bottom, making it useless. The following day, I went to the desk to share my frustrations and Jason was able to round up a coffee pot and paper cups. He also brought up an iron that didn't leak. There were chips out of tub, rusted pipes from toilet, the faucet in tub took all my strength to get it to stop leaking. On our third night, the TV in sitting room had sound but no picture. Called the desk, they said they would reset the cable, which didn't work. Called again and was told they would let maintenance know. Heard nothing more that evening. Asked on the way out in the morning to have it fixed while we were out for the day. Their solution was to come and remove the tv but not bring another. Went down and spoke to Jason and he gave me permission to move the TV from the sleeping area into the sitting area. In addition, the pool was closed for our entire visit. I paid for an experience that I did not receive and requested a discount for the lack of amenities. Offered less than $16.00 for my 4 night stay. Contacted corporate and was given some points I may never use. My advice, stay anywhere else.

under construction while we were there. Was unaware of this but did not pose any challenges. Staff was welcoming, and hotel has a free shuttle to universal studios. Breakfast was decent. They have Belgian waffles as well as yogurts and various fruits. Hotel is getting a well deserved facelift. Decent stay for the price.

Great Choice
Excellent hotel, fantastic location. My check in experience was fast and seamless. the room was fantastic, and the location was perfect, very quiet area, but believe it or not less than 2 minutes from International Drive. Very easy drive to all the Theme parks and restaurants.
