My husband and I stayed here for a week, we had a room in the guesthouse Avalon, the room was so small and we requested an upgrade! Boy did we get upgraded!! They moved us to an oceanfront room with a huge bathroom and super nice balcony! All the food, drinks and entertainment were great! I would definitely recommend staying here and we probably will next year!

best hotel on the island .been many times.
great place. got there thanksgiving day 12 pm.our room was ready. check in was easy.we got the room we asked for island wing 5105. great spot walk out door and u have shore pool and beach. Alex and ashley are the best.great to have Pete back also.already booked thankgiving for 2026 .thanks Roxana Marilyn and Sara.express ck. is great.happy holidays. Mike and Lorraine lorusso.

I Love Key West! Thank you SOMO Resort!
We had the best time this week! Kindest staff. Best views. So close to everything. We walked to all the restaurants. We loved the music by the pools and the steel drummer at the Cafe. We have been here many times... it just keeps getting better!

Best Location & Views! I will be back!
I can not say enough nice things about this resort. My room was beautiful. The view from my room was perfect. We played trivia. We went to the margarita making class (delicious)! We loved the music by the pool. We had coffee every morning from the Christmas Coffee Shop/Bar!! Best trip yet!

4 night stay
We just got back from a four night stay. We stayed here last year at the Avalon and this year stayed in the main part of the hotel. Our room was large ( double queen) and had a little balcony with a partial ocean view. The room was clean and had a lot of storage. The bathroom was updated although the shower had low pressure. Thanks to Roxana for making our check in quick and smooth. She even contacted us via text a few days in advance to see if we needed anything. She was quick to respond and answered all of our questions. We told her we were coming in for our anniversary and had a little treat waiting for us in the room (thanks to Dalma for the surprise). Thanks also to Annette, Sara and Marilyn for answering our questions about the room and hotel before and during our visit promptly. We came back to this hotel for the location. We love the little beach and there is a perfect pier to watch the sunset. I also did the morning aqua and beach yoga. They were wonderful. We are hoping to come back again next year and will try to stay in the Avalon again. That room included breakfast. Overall, we would recommend this hotel
