First of all...amazing location. Cannot emphasize this enough. Right next to the airport, walk to Maho Beach for plane spotting. The facility was clean, customer service on point, food was excellent, kiddos to chef Jean for making the best omelets every morning. My kids did not want to leave and we truly had an exceptional vacation. Thank you!!

This location is really cool- you can see airplanes landing above your head, $5 taxi and 5 minute ride to and from the airport. You can easily walk to the runway to see and feel planes take off, the water is bright turquoise and beautiful with nice waves! It was easy to get beach chairs if you go when they set them up between 8-9 am, and was also easy to get chairs on the sand above the beach if you go early. We never tried to sit by the pool and I never went in the pool. Even though the resort was at full capacity, it never felt crowded anywhere. The food was good but watch the different nights the Asian restaurant is open bc it’s closed every few days. We enjoyed the location of the Italian restaurant and loved the food at the Asian restaurant. We used the bar by the mexican restaurant and drinks were good. Never long waits for restaurants, we would get there at 6 when they opened, no reservations needed or available. We did have a rough start upon arrival and the manager Giovani was not helpful or polite or good at his job but guest relations manager Angela was truly amazing!!!!!!! I loved meeting her and connecting with her! You can just tell she is so good at her job and working with customers, taking care of issues, de-escalating situations, etc. If your group is over age 18, the adult only floors 9 and 10 looked really cool with their own balcony and bar and snack place. They are opening a new roof area on the 4th floor in October which looks really cool- it will have 18 course mini golf, surfing water area, trapeze, stage for shows and karaoke, etc. They have a new GM and a new activities director so more positive changes are probably happening too! We would definitely return here.

Mar 25, 2026Resort grounds great, food great, rooms....save your money!
I rarely leave reviews, but I felt it was important to warn others before booking this place. We checked into room 975, which we later learned had already been rejected by others in our group due to a non‑working AC unit and a balcony door that wouldn’t close. When I asked the concierge for a different room, they refused to accommodate the request. They sent workers to “fix” the issues, but ultimately told us we had to keep the room because nothing else was available. The AC hardly worked and the balcony door felt like it was going to break off. Unfortunately, this ended up being the worst room we’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are dated. The shower was pitched incorrectly and flooded the entire bathroom every time we rinsed off—including the toilet area. Imagine trying to use the bathroom while water is pooling around your feet. We had to use all of our clean towels just to keep the flooding somewhat under control. We reported the problem three days in a row, and each time the front desk smiled and assured us someone would stop by. They had room service come an hour-2 hours later. They also refused to move us to another room. To make things worse, the room was right next to the elevators. Every night, groups of partiers would spill out, yelling and screaming right outside our door. I truly hope this helps someone avoid the same experience. Based on our stay, hospitality is clearly not a priority here. I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

Location, Location, Location providing instant access to the Caribbean Sea and nonstop air traffic
The smiling, ultra Customer, focus, kind, and attentive staff made our vacation! It was great fun to be able to walk down to the Caribbean and play in the waves, watch the planes, landing over the beach and taking off, enjoying virgin piña colada‘s, and visiting the kitten rescue adjacent to the resort

I had an amazing experience thanks to the Director Sharon who always greeted us and made sure that we were having a good time at the resort. She’s very sweet and amazing.I also wanna thank Lola for being an amazing server.
