    Great Location

Great hotel for what I needed it for. Round the corner from my office, so really easy to walk and get into work everyday. Just off 16th St Mall and Denver Pavillions, so again, really easy to go shopping and navigate the city. King size bed, great air conditioning and blackout curtains so perfect for sleeping. Would happily stay here again

Very average, unkempt. I would not choose this place again to stay, no wonder why it’s cheap. Clearly there’s a lack of maintenance in the hotel. There are so many good hotels in the Denver downtown area you can choose. Don’t know where the good reviews are coming from.

    Average Hotel, Terrible wifi

General experience was acceptable, but it is 2024 and the wifi was almost completely unusable due to speed. Everything else is okay, but cannot recommend staying here if you have any interest in wanting to use the internet (aka most people). Too slow to function.

    Gross and Rude!

Horrible!! Please go anywhere but here! Don’t waste your money. Staff unfriendly and rude. Rooms outdated. Go to the Hyatt next door. Much nicer! And they have a bar that actually serves food. And you pay $50/night for parking. What a scam. Trust me.

Convenient location to convention center; needs some updates

Stayed here for business. The main reason to choose the hotel is location & close proximity to the convention center. Pros: -Rooms are a good size, especially the king suite. Great space if you are staying several days for a conference. Functional space with small couch, etc. I used the whole space. -Staff was incredibly helpful over the phone prior to my stay because I needed to add a night (separate payment). Great to be able to get a person on the phone easily. -Walking distance to convention center (main point of staying here). Also walking distance to many bars, restaurants, 16th street pavilion/mall, about a 15 min. walk to the denver art museum. Walking distance to a grocery store. So, a convenient location. -I felt okay walking around here alone at night as long as I was going a block down the way which was more crowded. I wouldn't linger though. -The housekeepers deserve a raise. They are working their tails off. They were also very helpful. Bartenders were also excellent, friendly. -Front desk staff was a little hit or miss, but mostly helpful. -Best if you do not have a vehicle to park because that will get very pricey. -I was able to request a fridge which was necessary, so make sure to do so if you are staying longer & need that. -Reasonably quiet, especially if you are on a higher level. Cons: -Obviously a very old hotel that has had some renovations. However, elevators were terrible. There was only one button working, so you had to basically run over to catch the ones further from the button. Fine for me, but not okay for anyone w/mobility issues (which I observed). The elevators were also incredibly slow & stairs difficult to find. No stairs on some of the ground levels so that was just confusing. -I would say that the higher level rooms are better, but then you have to deal with the elevators ha! -Room key had some malfunction. Just seemed like a lot of small electrical/practical issues in the hotel because it is older. -No fans in bathroom. Just a strange decision. -Gym needs some attention, a lot of the equipment was broken or partially non-functional. Just needed some upkeep in general. Very hot in the gym areas, it really needs a fan or other air circulation. -There are other properties in the area that are higher quality for similar price, so this one just seems a little outdated & overpriced in comparison to the area. My employer covered cost except for one night. I just added a night for convenience, but probably would not pay for this hotel myself since I know better now. Overall: Okay in general if this is where you end up for a convention/business, etc. If you have another option in the area, you might find higher quality a block away.
