Comfortable stay overall
The hotel is well-located and comfortable. It also has a good onsite restaurant with tasty options and friendly staff. My only complaint is that the hotel put an about $450 hold on my credit card without my authorization. Nobody informed me about this and I don't know what it was for. The hold was removed after a few days and I was not charged, but it shouldn't have been made without notifying me. The staff told me that there would be a $250 hold as a deposit, and this about $450 charge was in addition to that.

Meh - Pool was freezing cold, unusable Wifi, charged for late checkout but was still forced to check out early
I chose the hotel among others in the area for 2 reasons: 1) Late checkout offered at booking, and a heated outdoor pool to relax after work. Well I got neither, even though I paid for late checkout. Pool was freezing cold. Asked about it at front desk and was told it was broken frequently including today. (I had asked before booking if it was working and was told its working fine and no maintenance was planned). And seriously if you're going to advertise a heated pool, maintain it so your guests can get what they pay for, or offer a credit for the loss of use of what they paid for and expected. Also at the pool, loud music playing 24/7 with no way to turn it down. Even when it was a hot day outside, people gathered at the pool with the hopes of enjoying it, but it was so cold no one could really get in. Also while there's an outdoor public rinse-off shower (probably not heated either), there's no private shower in either of the 2 nearby restrooms to shower privately near the pool. So you can only shower in a room if you still have one. End result: If you didn't get the late checkout you paid for so you could enjoy the pool and took a swim in the frigid waters, tough luck, no shower for you to actually get clean afterwards for your travels home. Room and bed was comfy and quiet and bathroom was clean and relatively updated. Room shower hot water was definitely not hot (borderline warm) and very low pressure. Wifi was horrible (under 2Mbps) and not usable so I used my phone's hotspot and it was 100x better. Requested a late checkout at booking and was charged for it but it was not honored, and they initially kept the late checkout fee until I asked for it to be refunded after it wasn't honored. The pool was the major draw and it was basically unusable as it was freezing cold, no private shower near pool, with loud music blasting and not pleasant. Staff were all nice and as accommodating as they could be and these were management issues not staff issues.

A very comfortable stay
We stayed at this hotel twice, first time Aug 9-11 and the second time Aug 17-18. Both stayed were perfect. Check in was easy, the room had a great view over downtown, very comfortable and clean. The first night we had dinner at the bar; while it is not an extensive menu, the options are good and the food was very tasty. The bartender was very attentive and the cocktails were great!!

It's a (very comfy) bed, but not a lot of frills.
Being a name brand hotel in downtown Denver, I had decent expectations. The best way to describe the hotel was "meh", but it might work for your needs. I called a few times before arrival and front desk staff were very helpful. At check-in, they took care of us quickly. Location is obviously very good, and elevators moved fairly quickly. But the room was tiny with no clothes storage- literally living out of a suitcase for five days was not fun for the price I paid. Housekeeping was spotty- one day they came in to take dirty towels (great!), but didn't replace them with clean ones (not great). Pros: Very comfy bed. I do have to give them credit, it was very easy to sleep. LOTS of lights in the room. Almost too many. But you could isolate light anywhere you needed it. Housekeeping was available and would come as often as needed Elevators moved quickly AC was cold and kept up for my entire trip Cons: Tiny room with no storage for clothing or really spreading out at all Spotty internet that went in and out, even as a Travel Pass member Limited TV channel selection Considering I was there for more than a few nights, the lack of space was really a dealbreaker for me. If you have kids, forget this place. If you just need somewhere to sleep and are looking for a quiet, comfortable place, it might work for you. You could certainly do worse in Denver, but you could probably do better as well.
