Apr 01, 2026Solid Budget Hotel
We've stayed here several times over the last few years. If you're visiting the Buellton, Solvang, Los Olivos area this place is a solid budget hotel. Their rates fit us, as a retired couple on a fixed income. I'll get the negatives out of the way first - the A/C in our room was too loud and the mattress had seen better days. Other than that, the place was fine. Good selection of TV channels (via Dish Network), pretty good Wi-Fi considering we were as far from the office building as we could be. A huge plus for me is the addition of covered parking in the entire lot. Last time we stayed there were a couple rows of covered parking, but since then they've done the whole thing. As one who keeps our cars as clean as possible, I appreciated this feature a LOT. The staff is friendly and efficient. Another big plus is, as early risers, they brew fresh coffee pretty much 24/7, and it's good coffee. We'll be back next time we visit the area.

Great place to stay! Friendly staff and good location. It was within driving distance to Los Olivos for great wine tasting! Loved the fire pits and the availability of the on-site lounge!

The hotel seems to have lost it's charm. We used to order a fun free breakfast to be delivered at at room. Now they have donuts if there are any left when you get to the reception area. The hot tub was broken. They said we could use the next door's hot tub, and it looked a little greenish and was not very hot.

Best venue in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Very comfortable. well maintained inn, professional and friendly staff. Find it because of the movie, return because you've had an excellent experience.

Simply wonderful
Beautiful, clean, tranquil and friendly. We absolutely loved our stay here. Good sized and modern rooms. Well kept pool area and gym. Very friendly staff. Loved the fire pits at night. Right in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country. Walking distance to Hitching Post and wine rooms in Buellton. Only a few minutes drive to Solvang and Los Olivos. There’s free coffee and donuts in the lobby every day, which was much appreciated. Overall, you feel welcome and cared for.
