Great beachfront but need to replace front desk lady
Right on the beach with plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. Room was bright and spacious. The bathroom fan was too loud. The housekeeper lady was sweet. Docked off 2 stars because we saw the same front desk lady for checkin and checkout and she was semi rude and unfriendly every time. Really unpleasant person who should not be anywhere near the hospitality business.

A must In Turks
We have been looking to come to Turks for some time now. We didn't know which hotel would suit us best. We decided to try Sibonne and we were not let down. For the money we saved each night we splurged on great restaurants. The rooms are adequate, spacious and can use some updating. the grounds are beautiful. When you are steps away from the powder sand and that amazing water so the pool wasn't relative. As a NY'R I am going to be critical however I love this place and will definitely be back. Our beach area is not roped off so there is a lot of water traffic which is nerving if you are swimming or snorkling. There are quite a few smokers who could care less about polluting the sands with their butts which is gross so some sand maintenance is definitely needed. One of the excursion guys on the beach sitting right next to us (brandishing a big bag of pot) is also dealing drugs on the beach and hanging out at our bar which make me nervous for what can happen if there is a turf war. The Island attitude is quite prevalent as here some workers will be gracious (especially in the restaurant) but most make you feel out of place. As a whole the savings out weighs the negative. You cant get any closer to the beach . Security should be have more of a presence for it is needed because anyone can walk on this property. It's not the "friendly Island" but they are trying. One must be vigilant because an American was stabbed in their car at 9 am by a local. I think the solutions are simple, Turks is a beautiful Island and it doesn't take much to compliment it. K.I.S.S

hard to beat the value
We stayed at the Sibonne the first week of March after making a late decision to go to T&C. We had seen the hotel on a previous trip to the on-premise restaurant (Bay Bistro) and knew the location. Its a no-frills hotel that could use a little updating, but its hard to beat the value when the glitzier hotels can be a few hundred dollars more expensive each night. The rooms where clean, bed comfortable, with water and coffee restocked each day. Our room (second floor) had a balcony overlooking a quaint courtyard and a partial ocean view. The staff was friendly and the Bay Bistro restaurant (separately managed) is one of the best on Grace Bay beach. The beachfront at Sibonne is phenomenal with beautiful sunsets. Also the cruise and parasail vendors pick up right on the beach at the hotel. We took a wonderful sunset cruise with beach pick up/drop off right in front of hotel. The one downside is that there were limited chairs & umbrellas available and many guests would drop towels and personal items on them as early as 730 am. In contrast the bigger hotels, had dozens of lounges - all on top of each other As I said. its hard to beat the value, but dont expect the frills of the bigger newer establishments.

Mellow Vibe
We stayed in the courtyard value room. We were pleasantly surprised. The size of the room and all the amenities were the same as a regular courtyard room, the only difference was the twin beds. They were very comfortable, and the pillows were fluffy. This room is right by the entrance to the courtyard and next to the office. We had absolutely no issues with the location. There were two chairs and a table to sit at for coffee in the morning. The towels were stocked all days except one. We did stay during the week, and we had no problems getting a chair at the beach. Friday and Saturday, we did notice that guests were "saving" chairs early and then not using them for most of the day. We really liked the size of this hotel. As we walked down the beach and noticed the larger hotels, their beach chairs were stacked on top of each other.....way too crowded. Sibonne has a charming vibe and is literally right on the beach. The restaurant has a delish breakfast that is comparable to the price of breakfast in town. We did walk to town for meals, it took about 10 - 15 minutes. There is a grocery store in town too, that is fully stocked with everything. I would recommend the Sibonne to anyone wanting to relax in a quiet, mellow vibe hotel.
