Great place to stay before setting off on a cruise
City hotel situated close to cruise port with beautiful rooms and great food. We stayed two nights before a cruise and really enjoyed our stay. Staff were so friendly and always had a smile. Food at the Asian Fusion was delicious! Highly recommend, esp a great place to stay prior to cruising!

A must stay in San Juan
We had a fabulous stay here with kids. The pool and amenities are great. Location is 5/5! The staff were welcoming and kind. We would go back any time of the day. Elite breakfast benefit was huge and we used a ENC and it was accepted to a sundeck suite. 4pm late checkout and they took our dietary restrictions very seriously. Thanks again for a wonderful stay

Day Pass to the pool
Pool Day Pass Review My husband and I visited on a day pass for the pool. Overall, it was a nice experience; however, with so many other options in Puerto Rico that also have beach access, we likely would only come back if we were staying at the hotel. The pool area has plenty of loungers, but is lacking in umbrellas. The direct sun for several hours can be brutal! Note: there are birds everywhere in the pool area. They are just waiting for someone to drop food. When I say everywhere - I mean like 40-50+ that are just walking and flying from lounger to lounger. They are fat birds, so they are eating well somewhere. Because of all the birds, it was hard to find a lounger that didn't have bird poop on it. The pool was nice. We ate some nachos - nothing to write home about, just something to tie us over.

Great stay. Would recommend — especially for New Year’s Eve!
First off, this is now a Marriott property. Second, I’m glad I ignored the reviews. I was really expecting a terrible experience. We booked this at the last minute because we just wanted to go some place warm. Being the day before New Year’s Eve, it was hard to find flights and/or hotels to any Caribbean island, so we booked the first available and this was it. The hotel is very large with a small/medium size casino. For gamblers, there are live dealers as well as slots. It’s in a busy area with lots of hotels nearby, but you don’t get a resort feel at all since there’s no beach nearby. They have a nice size infinity pool and lounge area with bar. There was some construction going on in what looked like a hot tub or swim up pool area. No baby pool but there was a shallower end. The pool overlooks a T-Mobile complex with restaurants and a cinema. They had it set up for NYE and we had a fabulous view of the festivities below and the fireworks display. There’s a coffee shop and a few restaurants/bar. They offer a shuttle to beach and Old Sa Juan but it want running on schedule so we just uses Uber or taxis. Service was fine. All in all, a nice hotel if you’re looking for cleanliness, safety. Nothing fancy.

Not a 4 star hotel
Not sure why this place has good reviews. Checking in was a nightmare, no one gave us the wrist band for the pool or the cars for the parking lot and we only found out about it later. There were only two coffee pods in the room: one decaf and one regular. So if two people like decaf coffee, you are out of luck. Towels were lank sand paper and small. We order d room service and it came in paper plates.
