Very good business hotel for the right reasons

As a business traveller I like this hotel. It is very close to the airport, about ten minutes. So it is fast and cheap to travel between them, and Uber cars are plentiful until very late at night. It has five elevators, which is more than enough for this property. They all work and move at a good pace. Never waited for one even during the morning check-out rush. The rooms are modern, with plenty of plugs and USB charging outlets all over them. The desk is spacious. The bedding is standard Marriott, which I find very good. The pool and deck are very nice and easy to get to and use if you find the time. The walk to the Convention Center is truly short as well. Just across the street. The only drawback are the hotel restaurants. The menus are a little niche for dinner, and there isn't much for lunch. They have nice spaces but aren't very busy. BUT, there are a lot of options across the street at Distrito T-Mobile. It sounds and looks like an overly commercial mess at first glance, and is sometimes crawling with fanny-pack wearing mainland tourists in Crocs, but inside is a good mix of quick food, locallly influenced fare, and fine dining. No passport needed to enter Puerto Rico, American money is the currency, a good experience.

    Great Staff

Basic convention/cruise port/casino hotel. Room was clean but cooling was limited by the thermostat making for a hot room. Restaurants were good. Staff members were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel shows the wear and tear of this type of hotel. We booked through the cruise line so the price for one night was quite expensive, but convenient to the port.

    Beautiful and Tidy Hotel

This hotel met all of our needs. It was within walking distance of the Distrito T-Mobile and close to Old San Juan. The free shuttle to the beach and Old San Juan was a huge perk. The pool also has a beautiful view! Room service was fantastic as well. I have no complaints.

    Awful!

We stayed at this property for one night and it was awful! They put us in room 1212 which is next to some type of utility room and there was noise constantly! I have zero idea why they would put anyone in this room! We also had water coming down the wall outside our door in the hall. The hotel is not clean, the pool area is under construction and filthy. The women at the Bonvoy desk asked me how my stay was and I said awful. She looked at me and told me the balance on my room and the resort fee price. Marriott needs to teach their employees customer service. Apparently being an elite loyalty member means nothing.
