Great place on a great beach.

We were lucky enough to book a room in the Moana section of the resort, and had a beautiful view of both Molokai and Lanai. We saw whales and pods of dolphins. The only problem we had was trying to deal with the guest below us (ground level) and her excessive smoking. We went to the lobby and advised them of the situation. We were told they would have security look into it. Everyone knows about Hawaii’s strict laws on smoking and we were disappointed when nothing was done. We couldn’t even enjoy sitting out on our lanai when she was out there, not to mention the smell coming into the room with the door closed. She clearly had no concern for anyone else as she smoked right out in the open and in front of the no-smoking sign that is displayed on all units. That being said, the resort is very nice and close to Whaler’s Village, shopping and restaurants. The pool is pretty awesome as well. Kaanapali Beach itself makes staying right on the beach worth while.

The week was great, and then it ended on a very sour note

The management at this hotel is absolutely awful. They just called the police and removed our entire group of 30 people on our presidents club trip after we checked out even though they told us we could stay at the pool on the property until our 8 o’clock flight this evening. They wanted us off the resort the minute we checked out And they called the police on us for trespassing

Moana building has unbeatable views and peace

The last time we came, the staff recommended we come back in early March to watch the whales, what a great idea! The whale watching was just incredible from our balcony in the Moana building. If you like peace and quiet, the Moana building is definitely the place for you. The rooms are old so you have to be prepared for a bump or crack on the furniture, but the views can’t be beat in the staff. Here is so welcoming. From our favorite waitress at mai tai’s Jules, to Nelson in the main restaurant to the food manager. Chiara everyone is so welcoming and kind. The bell hop staff hustles all the time with big smiles on their face and a welcoming cold bottle of water. We come here for the peace and quiet of nature we spend our sitting in our balcony whale watching birdwatching stargazing are fabulous here if you want a lively environment. Probably want a different part of the resort and they’ll be happy to put you in a room with a lot of enthusiasm and liveliness. But we come for the peace and quiet so Moana is right for us. We’re always looking forward to our next visit. What more can you say about a place to stay?

    Amazing service

I had an excellent experience hosting my corporate offsite at Sheraton Hawaii. The accommodations were outstanding, and the entire process was seamless. I particularly appreciated their prompt assistance; they were always just a message away. They established a communication thread that included catering and various support services, ensuring that I had access to any help I might need. I had the pleasure of working directly with Joyce, who was exceptionally helpful, as well as Larry and Leipua , Jim, and Rodrigo , all of whom contributed to a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this venue for corporate offsites, and their rates are very reasonable.

Beautiful resort and beach. Restaurant had a great breakfast, didn’t have dinner there. Very peaceful area, close to things like whalers Village. Walking distance. Beautiful views and the luau was very good. Lots of excellent food. Be sure to check that out, rooms were nice.
