Day Room Use!
Booked a day pass at this hotel! We were able to check in at 10am and check out was 8pm! Pool was nice, service around the pool was quick. The room was spacious for our bags. Great space to rest and refresh before a midnight flight. I could see wear and tear around the hotel and some areas looked like they needed a little extra elbow grease to be cleaned. All and all was a good spot to hang before our flight.

Bad rooms
More like 0 stars for this stay. Have stayed here many times, never had a terrible room till today. Room 353 backs up to their new AC, noisy, open slider hot air comes in. They should not give this room to anyone. They should be embarrassed that they even use it for a room. I gave it a 3 because I’ve stayed here so many times and have always had a decent room. But if judged it by this stay alone it would be 0 stars. They weren’t even nice about changing the room, but they did give me a different room, better but not the standard for this business trip. This is not a corporate hotel, it’s a franchise, I am a platinum with Marriott. Bottom line make sure your room is no where near AC power plant…because that is what it is.

THREE OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEES WORTH HONORING
This is a beautiful resort and central to any part of the island you would like to visit or explore. We had 3 exceptional employees that really went over and beyond to make our stay so memorable. TANEIL, she works at the front desk and I cannot express enough how kind, warm, caring and aloha she was. Her spirit made us feel so welcomed, if you get a chance to stay at this resort, seek her out and your stay will be better for it. AIDEN, he works as one of the bartenders. He is such a genuine and kind person, even when he's busy he wants to see how your stay is, and if you are having a good time. I would recommended a Coconut Mai Tai! PATRICK, he works in the valet department. He is very knowledgeable about the island and gave amazing recommendations. Because of him we were able to experience places and taste food that we otherwise would never have know about. I highly recommend the management at this resort recognize these three employees TANEIL, AIDEN and PATRICK for their outstanding work, service, dedication and overall presence at this resort.

A very pleasant stay
We booked an ocean view room - we were given a lovely queen ocean view room on the third floor . We saw beautiful sunrises looking out over the unspoilt beach and natural reef. The hotel was clean, is a little dated with lovely colleagues , call out to AG and Jeff in the pool bar and to Karen on the concierge desk. The location is perfect ! Breakfast was good and reasonably priced , the poolside bar served up some lovely meals and great Mai Tai’s as well as nightly entertainment. There is a little shopping mall selling souvenirs as well as an ABC store with all you might need in holiday as well as fresh hot food if you fancy a change, and a Safeway store the other way justa. Short walk to both. The bedroom was large and had a comfortable bed. The aircon was a bit noisy but didn’t disturb our sleep . The Luau show is well worth a visit , lovely food and a really well put together show which was informative and dun with some wonderful dance and brilliant vocals. As I mentioned the hotel needs a fair amount of upgrades on the general condition of the hotel , the sea air certainly taking its toll on a lovey hotel. The lighting of the torches of an evening is a lovely touch , reception on a arrival could not have been nicer …

Definitely would stay here again
This was one of my favorite resorts on my latest trip to Hawaii. I loved this island, Kauai, and this resort was top notch. Had a room on an upper level that had a terrific view of the ocean. The hotel was clean, the beds were wonderful, water pressure was fantastic, and Wi-Fi was sufficient. Spend some time at the pool which was wonderful.
