Will be back!
I have stayed in hotels of all price ranges around the world, and I was impressed. I spent most of my days doing work at the long counters in the lobby. I was really impressed when I saw staff walk by and always push the chairs in, pick up some garbage, etc., even when I’m pretty sure it wasn’t necessarily their job to do this. Mgmt is doing something right because all staff I dealt with dnd witnessed seemed to really care about the hotel and the experience. 👏🏼

Great Service. Great Location. Thank you Tinman for the excellent customer service.
We live within walking distance of the Sheraton. We celebrated our daughters birthday with some of her friends. we stayed in adjacent rooms. a large suite with king bed and pull out sofa. the hotel arranged for 2 cots, my wife and I had stayed in a king bed room. the girls loved going skating in the evening shopping at the Eaton Centre and along Queen street and Yonge street, as well as walking to chinatown for food. The Sheraton is an older hotel with a great location and comfortable rooms. It could do with a major Reno but then rates would be higher. The hotel is affordable and a deal when you consider the location. The updated lounge is good. the breakfast is better than average. The view from the lounge is very nice. This hotel is dog friendly, we where not charged for our small Morkie, (to be honest we never even mentioned the dog at check in. as friends were booked to look after the pup and cancelled last minute). I have to thank the front desk staff and in particular Tinman who was amazing. We were able to check into the kids room early to unload decorations, skates, luggage for the kids. the kids thought they were doing a sleepover at our house. We took them to lunch, walked to the eaton centre (I stopped and picked up dog), and then surprised the kids after they went shopping. Thanks again Tinman. you provided amazing customer service. (the room happened to be available and I have titanium elite status)

Does exactly what you would expect for a Sheraton city hotel
Sheraton has a great central location for the main sites and amenities. On-site parking very expensive but across the road is ample and easy access parking under the square. The service and rooms was very nice. The bar and restaurant facilities not the best. Very busy and not enough staff who where very nice but clearly overstretched. Menu limited and expensive to what can be easily enjoyed at easily accessible local bars and restaurants, depends what you need or want .

Disappointed
So disappointing. We have stayed here many times but, last weekend was a total disappointment. The room was clean but we couldn’t seem to achieve a comfortable temperature. We finally asked housekeeping for another blanket. Our greatest disappointment was the lack of a proper restaurant. Not everyone wants to eat in the lobby!! Breakfast really only offered continental fare with the exception of an omelette which was cold. Dinner was no better. Upon arrival we like to dine in the hotel but we had to get our coats and go out. Fortunately our server gave us some great options within walking distance. Might be wise for the hotel to rethink this recent remodel.

Waiting for its recovery
This Sheraton was probably much more of a hotel before the pandemic. It (and the surrounding businesses) hasn’t really bounced back yet. Room was fine, but service throughout the hotel was a bit lacking. Was there for a conference and the biggest complaint by attendees was that everything for the actual conference was VERY spread out: meeting rooms are on the other side of the hotel and down some stairs from the main ballroom. We were constantly hoofing it back and forth. Restaurants in the hotel was sub par. Restaurants nearby were not all open— and many closed by 4:00 pm—basically open to serve a lunch crowd only.
