Excellent location, views and service!
I was back at the Sheraton Toronto for a conference and everything about the hotel, staff and service was great. Great location, great views, great service and staff. I particularly appreciated the comfortable bed and pillows, as well as the views from my room on the 42nd floor, as well as from the lounge on the 43rd floor.

Great Place for Major Events and Centrally Located
The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is one I would recommend for those looking to stay near the Nathan Phillips Square and other areas of Downtown Toronto. Everything is relatively close to this hotel, including Union Station and various entertainment venues. If you can secure lounge access on the 43rd floor, it's worth staying here, especially for the General Manager's reception event on your first night. I had the opportunity to stay in a suite on the 22nd floor. The room was comfortable, spacious, and with a great view of the Nathan Phillips Square in the evening. One thing to keep in mind: Please try to stay on floor 25 and above if you desire to secure lounge access on the 43rd floor. To access the upper floor, you must go up to the 25th floor and then proceed to another set of elevators to reach this level. It's a bit confusing at first, but you get used to it. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium elite member, I was able to check in on the 43rd floor instead of the 1st floor, and everyone was more than attentive and friendly to us. They have everything well-monitored in terms of access, as you are required to present your room key or number, and they are aware of the number of people allowed in the room. It is the proper way lounges should be managed, and I would recommend breakfast and light appetizers the evening before heading out. Overall, it is a great place to stay in the Toronto area, and I would highly recommend it.

Unethical approach to customers
I booked a 4 night stay at this hotel. I had to leave one night early to go to New York (and paid for another Marriott hotel there) but still honoured the Toronto stay and paid for the full 4 nights. Apparently this is an issue for Sheraton/Marriott so despite being a Titanium member and lifetime Platinum member of 25 years this equals 0 nights credited to my account and 0 points credited to my account. Very poor and unethical behaviour, the only beneficiary being the Sheraton Toronto.

Great business stay downtown
I just came from Toronto for a quick 1 night stay for business and switched from my normal hotel to this Sheraton and was really impressed. The hotel was in a great location for me, walking distance to my meetings which made it easy. Marc greeted me at the front desk and could not have been nicer and more helpful explaining the property. My room was excellent, a full suite with the an amazing view of the city skyline on the 33rd floor. The room came with the standard amenities you'd expect from a Marriott with coffee in the room as well. The executive lounge on the 43rd floor was excellent. The lounge is the entire floor and at night offered heavy hors d'oeuvres that you can make a meal out of but alcohol is a charge. I do wish they would have a free happy hour, but the bar is very nice. I was able to work on my laptop, watch TV and Jen at the bar took great care of me. Overall, it was a great stay and I will definitely be back next time in YYZ.

Hits all the marks for a great hotel stay
This was my 3rd stay at this Sheraton over the last couple of years and again it was just lovely. This hotel is a hotel that does what it says it will do. The staff is present and quick to serve - and there is always enough staff at the different required positions whether it is check in, bell/doorman service and the housekeeping crew. You don’t have to look for service. Rooms are showing their age BUT are beyond comfortable and clean. Stayed on 11th floor with 2 rooms booked each looking at City Hall. Traffic noise wasn’t that bad but can confirm that old City Hall bell tolls on the hour every hour! Easy access to all major points of interest downtown. A nice 15 minute (ish) walk to Scotiabank Arena/Rogers Centre and LOTS of options to go eat all around. Will stay here again when in Toronto.
- AdvisoryPrices are based on single or double occupancy. You will incur additional charges at the time of check-in for additional room occupants. The Front Desk will verify the age of the guest to determine whether the extra fee would apply.
