Feb 08, 2026Lovely time!
Overall, we had a lovely stay at this resort and would return. Some highlights: Angel at the Beach Club was an amazing server. He was so kind and attentive, and always trying to be the life of the party for guests. The Beach Club itself was gorgeous, with plenty of seating for everyone, great pizzas, and fantastic fish tacos. The water was clear and peaceful, and the beach was cleaned of seaweed every morning. Blue Water Grill was also lovely. The corn cream soup, catch of the day, and empanadas were some of our favorite dishes of the week. Being in the middle of the jungle with lanterns created a really beautiful and cozy ambience. Diego at Bordeaux also provided some of the best service we have ever had at a restaurant, all inclusive or not. We had great negronis, French onion soup, and steak. We also really enjoyed the bike tour with Enrique and Samara. It was a great way to get familiar with the surroundings outside the resort, learn about the local culture, and stop to see an old Mayan ruin. Very cool, and under 1.5 hours. The rooms were stunning as well. The water temperature and pressure in the shower were great, and all of our valuables were fine in the safe all week. We stayed in a swim-out room and loved taking photos and sitting on the patio in the evenings. That said, there were a few cons. All of the pools, including the swim-out, were far too cold to enjoy, even when it was 77 to 80 degrees outside. They were simply uncomfortable, and because of that, nobody was really using them. We also had pretty poor food by the pool and were disappointed in the Italian restaurant. It felt like a cafeteria due to the lighting, and the food, including the tagliatelle and risotto, was not good. Lastly, they encourage use of the Hyatt app to request room service and amenities, but requests submitted through it took hours to be fulfilled. Definitely use the phone in the room to call for anything you need. Much quicker!! Overall, we had an amazing trip and would recommend it to others. There are just a few things they need to sort out, and some of it definitely comes down to personal preference.

Just left secrets tulum. Beautiful property with many pools. Was at capacity but didn’t feel full because there so many tucked away places to get quiet and shade. Our favorite spots were Jasmine and Bluewater Grill! Shuttle to the beach in hip arra with beach clubs and shops. Eteam kept things fun! Jhonny at the beach, Gretel, Sebastian, Arturo, Cristal, Enrique and Samara.. thanks so much!!. Planning a return trip

Don't listen to the negative reviews!
Absolutely amazing all-inclusive experience from start to finish! The resort itself was beautiful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed—but what truly made it unforgettable was the service. Huge shout-out to Jerimas and Alanzo for going above and beyond. Their service was top-notch, their conversation was fun and genuine, and they made our pool time an absolute blast. From keeping the tequila flowing to making us laugh and feel completely taken care of, they truly elevated our experience. If you’re looking for a place where you can relax, laugh, sip great drinks, and feel like family—this is it. We can’t wait to come back! 🌴🍹✨

Beautiful, Relaxed Jungle Themed Stay with Luxury
Very nice resort with a seperate beach club with transportation shuttle to and from for free. Great food, excellent customer service, and very clean. Beautiful rooms and attention to detail. We had a problem in our room and we received great customer service. Management and customer service were incredible, especially Frida the concierge!

Bottom tier of Secrets resorts visited over the past 10 years. Avoid this one and go to a different resort. Disappointed with this property, very odd layout, programming, and below average food and choices.
