Not cheap, but a beautiful resort and great experience.
We've been to lots of resorts, and this one was near the top in almost every category... new resort so rooms were very clean and included great technology, above average food options, evening entertainment that was actually entertaining, nice sand beach (minimal sargassum), and even a very well appointed fitness centre. Lots to like. We paid for the preferred club upgrade and for the most part felt we got good value. Our butler (Luis) was amazing, very friendly, helpful, and responsive, definitely made the trip better for us. The one disappointment was the Oceana restaurant that is only open to preferred club guests. We're gluttons for punishment apparently as we gave it a shot for breakfast, lunch and dinner and had a sub par experience all three times. The preferred pool and beach areas were great though... the food truck and sushi bar have some great snacks, and drink service was always quick. The other restaurants were solid, with Tierra being well above average for a resort. The restaurants don't require reservations which is nice, we never had to wait more than 30mins. We ran out of time and didn't get to play pickleball, but they have four really nice courts. Nightly entertainment shows were good, Queen and Beyonce shows were really fun. The after show events were good too, the "silent party" was a blast. Overall, would definitely recommend this resort.

Alex and Savanna Duncans Review - Honeymoon Trip
I don’t typically write reviews, but my experience at Secrets Punta Cana absolutely deserves one—and not just a good one, but an exceptional one. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was beyond anything I’ve experienced at a resort. Secrets Punta Cana already sets a high standard in terms of luxury, atmosphere, and overall experience—but what truly elevated this stay into something unforgettable were two individuals: Emmanuel (our butler) and Lioris (UVC representative). Emmanuel was, without exaggeration, one of the most attentive, intuitive, and genuinely caring professionals I’ve ever encountered in hospitality. He didn’t just “do his job”—he anticipated needs before we even realized them ourselves. Every detail was handled with precision, warmth, and pride. Whether it was coordinating reservations, ensuring our room was perfectly set, or simply checking in at the right moments, he made us feel like absolute VIPs the entire time. His presence alone elevated the entire experience, and it’s clear he operates at a level far above standard expectations. Emmanuel is the kind of person who defines what luxury service should be. Lioris, our UVC representative, was equally impressive. He struck the perfect balance between professionalism and authenticity—never pushy, always helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to make sure we understood all of our options and benefits, and made us feel comfortable, valued, and genuinely cared for. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and in representing the brand at the highest level. They were able to upgrade us to the presidential suite, which is a memory I will cherish forever. Together, Emmanuel and Lioris created an experience that felt seamless, elevated, and personal. They didn’t just provide service—they created memories. Secrets Punta Cana is fortunate to have individuals like this representing their brand. If there is any recognition, promotion, or leadership opportunity available within the organization, these two have more than earned it. They are the standard others should be trained against. We will absolutely be returning—and it will be because of them.

Great place to disconnect and enjoy
My partner and I spent a wonderful time here together. The sights are amazing and the environment so relaxing, especially the rooms. The food was good (lots of options to choose from) and the service outstanding. My partner loves the beach but I myself prefer the huge pools that the hotel offers, even if they can get a bit too busy sometimes. All in all, highly recommended for a nice getaway.

Wonderful trip, delicious food and the beach.
Went to visit with my partner for the holidays. Portofino's restaurant was delightful and my favourite. I highly recommend the pizzas, the hotel is near the beach, what a lovely place. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable for me but for my partner if was a little too much softer, we slept well the entire trip, no noises. I will definitely come back in the future!

Good resort with some great staff
The resort had great facilities as still felt pretty new with everything very accessible. The staff was great and always ver helpful. The pool was always fun to be around. The only thing disappointing was the specialty restaurants that we found a bit bland and boring but the buffet was great with some carribean food.
