Great place for first all inclusive experience. Enjoyed the beach and great food. Water was clear, staff did a great job helping us. I would recommend the trip to anyone looking for a romantic beach getaway. The only negative I have I don’t like the sales pitch’s for upgrades and joining the unlimited club. I would rather have that conversation with a local travel expert, not on my trip.

In the last 28 years we have traveled to Dominican Republic 40+ times and stayed at over 30 different all-inclusive resorts. We feel Secrets Tides was probably the nicest of all. Yes, it's new. I'm not going to repeat details that have been covered, but will agree on all of them. We were impressed by the layout of the resort, all the modern technology, the beauty and consent cleaning of the resort. The entire staff shows how much they enjoy working there. by showing their interest in their jobs. We are not foodies, and did not find any problems with any of the food. We did the Preferred Package and enjoyed some of the extra perks including the location of our room. I still would have been ok without it. Speaking of the staff they were all great but got to know a few a little better, Chico, Sugar, JC, Skinny Girl, Collin, Yashey, Sander, Candy, Dewitt, Sandy (main pool bar) Jorrdy(preferred bar), Christy (lobby bar area) and Nelky( housekeeping) made our week extra enjoyable------Thanks, A special thanks to Tracy Mueller Owner/Designer of Islanddreams.travel who has been planning our fabulous vacations for 20+years . We will be returning in 2025.

Amazing!
It was absolutely fantastic. We didn’t want for a thing, and we came home so relaxed. The food was excellent, and the service was even better. There were plenty of activities and things to do, and the massage was the best we ever had. Definitely worth the trip.

the workers here were all great, from preferred club to the baggage, our butler Rumelby was VERY GOOD , resort being newer all was nice and clean BUT the food here was in my mind POOR QUALITY , my wife and i travel to the dominican multiple times a year and this place has the worst food , we are not food snobs and easy to please here but until this is fixed will bring this resort down. we ran across multiple other people who felt the same way. hopefully this will get fixed.

A Family Vacation to Remember!
Our family’s recent stay at Secrets Tides Punta Cana was wonderful. My husband and I were at the resort for a week, and our son and his girlfriend joined us the second week. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back! The resort is new, so everything is lush and green. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. There are two large pools. One is quiet while the other is a little more active. There are plenty of lounge chairs and shade if you want it. My husband and I are not normally beach people, but we loved the beach area. Again, we had no problem finding lounge chairs and palapas. The beach is pristine! There are several specialty restaurants and a great buffet. The Market Café was our breakfast go to, but it also offered a great lunch and dinner buffet. The Tierra is beautiful, and the skirt steak was excellent. The Oceana is right on the beach, and the food was amazing. Our son and his girlfriend went two nights in a row for steak and lobster. We also loved the Seaside Grill for lunch and dinner. The burgers at the Barefoot Grill were fresh and juicy! My husband’s favorite afternoon spot was Coco Café for their delicious coffee and tasty treats. If you want to be busy, there is plenty to do. Our son and his girlfriend loved the lively volleyball games on the beach. They have great pickleball courts, but we found it a bit too hot to play. They offer yoga twice a day, water yoga, water aerobics, fun dance classes, Spanish lessons, and art classes on the beach. We had a few good games of table tennis, and there’s a pool table in the sports bar. The gym is excellent and well equipped. The shows were great! We really enjoyed the Rock Show and the Queen Show, and our son and his girlfriend loved the beach party. The Dominican Show features the talented entertainment staff. These young people work so hard! Their youthful energy was infectious! A special shout out to J.C., Skinny Girl and Mayra for teaching me some great dance moves. J.C. is also an excellent photographer! Thank you to Chico for encouraging me to try water yoga; Teddy for the warm hugs; Betty Boop for offering to keep an eye on my son and his girlfriend when we had to leave before them (it’s a mom thing); and Nicky, Derwin, Sugar, Colin, Jaysonn, Spicey, Chocho, and Andreas for checking in on us every day to make sure we were having a great time. We enjoyed meeting all of you! You made us feel like family! Overall, we were very happy with the service! The bartenders got busy at times, but they always greeted us with a smile and the drinks were yummy. At the beach and by the pool we were well taken care of! Service at the restaurants varied as we got the impression they are still working things out, but we always felt they were doing their sincere best to please us. Some people just went that extra mile, so we would like to acknowledge: Maria, Alexa, Edmir, Manuel, Michael, Franci, Carlos, and Elbim who was so proud when he remembered how to order my white wine spritzer our second time in the restaurant. A special hug goes out to Marlin who dreams of seeing snow someday and who treated my family like her own. Our concierge, Eduar, was wonderful in addressing a few minor problems with our room and in making arrangements for us to visit Breathless. The reception staff were all very attentive to our needs, but we would like to thank Yamel and Enrrique for making check in and out so easy and Yesenia for arranging to have a bottle of champaign in our son’s room to welcome them to the resort. I would recommend Secret Tides Punta Cana to anyone looking for a wonderful, fun, relaxing vacation!
