Excellent service, food and pools. The staff were truly exceptional! Beautiful view of the water, great entertainment and you can use Breathless hotel restaurants, pool and bars too.

10/10 minus the spring breakers.
My husband and I went for our second trip to Secrets Riviera Cancun and it was pretty great. The staff are amazing. We loved eating at Spoon, Rosewater, and The Strip Grill the most. Mario and Daniel at the secrets pool are just the best. We had an oceanfront suite and the view was so beautiful. Our first trip was in October 2025 and this time in March 2026 the weather was a bit hotter and much more windy than the last time we were here. The noise level on the secrets side of this resort was good for people who want to relax. However, this time on the breathless side (where the majority of the restaurants and entertainment is) they welcomed a couple hundred college aged spring breakers and that made things extremely loud on the breathless side. They were everywhere and loud everywhere. In some of the spaces it felt extremely disrespectful- like during the nighttime performances and in some of the restaurants. This is not the fault of the resort, the staff were managing them well- we could see there were additional staff that were present just monitoring them, but the presence of these college students was very distracting and just not something we were prepared for, as we were under the impression that this resort doesn't do spring breakers. However, these were school sponsored (or something like it) so it was two or three specific schools, and we were told it was the first time they've hosted students in this way. So, because of that sometimes it was hard to even think due to the sheer number and sound level and enjoy the time away with my husband when we wanted to participate in the evening activities on the breathless side of the resort. We always sighed in relief and were grateful for the silence the second we made it back to the secrets side at night. Like I said, I am not blaming the resort for this though. All of the staff were great and managed it so well. Everything was always so clean. We loved the service we received everywhere. The food was delicious. Would absolutely come back and stay again, just maybe rethink the time of year.

Best Staff in Mexico!
We loved our time at Secrets Riviera Cancun. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Luis the poolside entertainer was so much fun, and Mario and Daniel were great as poolside attendants. Loved the poolside mini-massages by Jose and the service by Gibran and Cruz. We were taken care of Daniel ("Roja") as if we were VIPs - we love him! There was always some low-key but fun activity to participate in, and different kinds of entertainment every night. The food was great - especially Spumante, the Italian restaurant. The coffee shop/ice cream cafe was open 24/7, which was also awesome! Would highly recommend this resort for a relaxing, beautiful time away.

Five Stars
My husband and I visited Secrets in late Feb/early March and it was such an incredible experience! This resort does provide an elevated experience - from rooms and decor to service and quality - this place exceeded our expectations at every turn. Food was excellent and service was even better! If you're hanging by the pool, check in with Daniel, Julio, or Cruz - they'll get you situated and the drinks flowing. Looking for fun? Find Luis - literally THE entertainment; he's engaging and fun! Overall, we had a blast! This is only our second AI in Mexico (or anywhere) so we are still figuring things out but we would definitely come back to this resort again.

Overpriced. Old buildings. Small. Annotated with teenagers, so hard to relax. Price covers nothing. Too expensive for what is offered.
