Overall, a beautiful and clean resort. It has good food for the most part but nothing to write home about. The breakfast buffet was our favorite, but it had little changes daily basically the same each day which can wear you out. The rooms were very nice with a hot tub on the balcony which I liked. Out housekeeper was top notch. I loved the 24-hour room service option as well. Most all the staff were very friendly but there was a language barrier that I had not ran into at any other resort that I have stayed at which made it had at times to get what you wanted. The activity department lacks in my personal opinion. Not much to do except yoga and volleyball. The DJ that was supposed to be at the pool different times didn't happen and they had what I would call elevator music playing on repeat. Not a very active and fun activity department to what we have had at other all-inclusive resorts. It may be because it is geared to older people that myself. Am I glad we came and relaxed here, YES. Will we come back to this resort, NO.

We visited this resort as a group of 13 to celebrate my 40th birthday, and it exceeded my expectations — which are always high for this chain. They never disappoint. This was our first time at this particular location, and I would absolutely go back. When we arrived our whole group got upgraded to swim out rooms which was a nice treat as we had never stayed on that level before. A special shoutout to Delmar, part of the entertainment crew, who was so much fun and always checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Charlie at the Asian restaurant was fantastic and cooked us one of the best meals we’ve ever had at the hibachi grill. Lastly, Michelle (I believe that was her name), who worked in the sports bar most nights, was incredibly kind and always on top of keeping our drinks flowing. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to travel to Cabo.

Great Resort, Okay Spa
We went for a 50th birthday celebration and had a great time at the resort. The main pool was fun with great music. The bars were welcoming and friendly throughout the resort. The restaurants were very good with a lot of menu selections. The concierge service was excellent, thanks to Ricardo. Definitely check out Channel 80 on the room TV! The spa is okay but not outstanding. The services were fine, but the spa amenities are dated and need some upkeep. Pedicures don’t have heated massage chairs and there’s no relaxing music, candles or aromas in that area. Even a tv on the wall would’ve been better than the awkward silence for an hour. They also just immediately reuse the warm neck pillows they offer you. They take them from where the guests left them and then heat them up and hand them to the next guest. No cleaning or disinfecting at all.

Great resort in Cabo!
Love this resort! We have gone two years in a row. Food is wonderful, friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms with great views!

Jan 14, 2026Secrets is a BEAUTIFUL resort
We love Secrets Puerto Los Cabos; this was our 2nd time visiting. We did have some bumps in the road throughout our stay, but the hotel is addressing them and trying to make things right. I would recommend Secrets.
