What an amazing trip! Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations! We have been to many resorts in Mexico and this is by far our favorite one we have ever been too! From the moment we arrived the staff was so attentive, friendly and made sure all our needs were met. Ezekiel at the pool bar is awesome! Brian, carlito and all the other entertainment staff were so much fun! Every single restaurant we had the chance to eat at was amazing! We are already planning our next trip to go back when they reopen after renovations.

Cesar the poolside server was the best ever!!!
This is my family’s fourth time staying at a Secrets resort, and my second time at the playa mujeres location. We had an absolute joyous time. Our favorite thing to do is simply sit all day in and by the pool. Cesar was our poolside server/camarero the first day, and we made sure to sit in his section every day after that because is personal service, delightful presence, jovial and accommodating attitude made the trip extra amazing and special. If he sees this, your san diego and kansas city family love you! We were genuinely sad to say goodbye to him and wish we could take him with us. He deserves every opportunity that can be afforded to him by the resort, as they are lucky to have him!!!!

Secrets Playa Mujeres and its amazing staff is such a gem
We had such a wonderful week at SPM. Yes, the resort is closing for renovation to make some improvements to the facilities, but we loved everything about this resort. It has a beautiful, natural landscape which was a nice change for the "created" landscapes of other resorts. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and would say it was some of the best we have had at an all inclusive resort. Amazing activities, beautiful beach, great pools and bars. We were in a master ocean front which had its own pool and we loved it. We also loved having privileges at Dreams next door, which meant the ability to enjoy the waterslides, restaurants, and of course the Ice Cream spot. But hands down, the stars of this resort are the amazing staff. Diego, the Chief Concierge is a kind, lovely man who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. His staff in the preferred lounge are extraordinary in their willingness to help. David at Oceana is such a gem. He truly made our stay special with extra touches at the many meals we ate there, alongside his teammates Santiago, Zorinda, and Danahe. The food is fantastic and it's a lovely spot to eat while overlooking the beach. The entertainment team (Jesus Avila, Antonio, Brian, and Carlitos) were such fun and so energetic. Victor, also part of the entertainment team, is an incredible help at the gym, making sure our vacation workouts were good ones. At the beach we loved having access to the bali beds and Karen, Edher, and Asucena took wonderful care of us. At the pool we also enjoyed the bali beds and were looked after by Katie and Annabelly. But all of that was made possible by the wonderful care of Martha and Alejandro. Martha was such a remarkable part of our vacation and deserves recognition for the incredible care she took to ensure we were happy. At the Seaside Grill we were looked after by Gabriel, Roque, Fermin, Ivan, and Michel. Be sure to try their desserts...amazing. We had a less than ideal experience at Humitsu, with a number of our orders missed, but we went back a second time and that team...Nicholas, Heyden, Charlie and Francisco...made up for it. Samuel on the golf cart was always there when we needed him and had such a fun personality. We enjoyed the room service a number of times and had Esdras, who was wonderful. Ordering tea and coffee to our room each day for us to wake up to was a fantastic touch. Josue helped us to get the best pricing and appointments for the spa and we had treatments by Carian, Rivera, Betty, Mario, Rosa and Nidia, while Alejandro took care of us at the hydrotherapy and Sofia was the smiling, friendly face at the front desk. At Portofino, which was probably our favorite dinner restaurant, Luis and Lisbeth went above and beyond. Herminia and Esther took care of our room and they were so attentive, even leaving me epsom salts each night for a soak in our whirlpool tub. Last but not least were Gabriela and Eunice at the Coco Cafe who made so many special coffees for us that we lost count. We look forward to seeing what the renovations will look like once they are completed next year, and can't wait to get back to this beautiful resort and its incredible staff, who feel like family to us.

Best all in elusive I can remember!
The resort is well laid out, with lots of plants. 2 huge pools. People complained the water was cold but it was fine. Lots of hot tub availability. The beach is beautiful and quiet. Lots of choice for restaurants and you don’t need to book ahead! We had some excellent meals. Rooms are a decent size with a walk in shower. I would definitely return if I wanted a peaceful trip with great food and service.

Beautiful Beach Resort Experience
What a relaxing and beautiful resort. We had an incredible vacation, enjoying the facilities, and its fusion with the beach and nature. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. And the food was great. I wish we could've stayed more than 4 days.
