This was a fabulous holiday to celebrate a birthday. We stayed in the preferred section and absolutely loved the pool, nice temp and chilled vibe with the occasional musician or band playing in the lounge. Sunbeds were comfy and easy to get in the morning, though the ones in the sun opposite the rooms went quicker. Drinks easily requested and delivered to your sunbed and cold towels offered around 12pm. The jacuzzi was hot with rarely anyone in it. Room: ocean view, 3rd floor was good, lots of towels & hydro bath. Outdoor bath on balcony didn’t look that tempting as stone/ concrete. Toiletries: lots of them inc mini bug spray. Butlers Miguel & Cinthia looked after us with daily updates of activities and restaurants open. Preferred Bar & Lounge good, small bites available till late evening & pretzels & nuts served with evening drinks. Complimentary hydro circuit in the spa was a nice touch, you get taken around the circuit rather than being left, nice changing area & products. Speciality restaurants were good and no wait time at all. As a vegetarian Himitsu offered the best flavour. Some of the meat a bit too pink for the other half despite asking for it not to be. Beach was lovely, no seaweed at that time of year, but red or yellow flags. Entertainment: something every evening, musicians some nights or bigger show in the theatre. If you stay over a wk, you’ll see things repeated. Bars close at 11pm, there is a late night bar but not sure how busy that was. Customer service is key here everyone we encountered was friendly and every request was finished with “it’s a pleasure”. Booked it via BA, transfer with Amstar. No regrets booking it at all, we had a great time.

Dec 22, 2025Water Quality Issues, Bring Immodium If You Want to Risk It
Resort was solid. However, they do not maintain their reverse osmosis sytem and have cleanliness issues that resulted in my wife and I being stuck in our rooms and alternating going to the bathroom for the last 2 days of our trip. Only thing that saved us from having to call a doc was a good supply of immodium just in case. We never left the resort, and we never drank the tap water, and only had ice from the bars in our drinks. The restaurants may serve tap, and if so the low rating is deserved. The staff sent Gatorades and water up, but refused to ever connect us with a manager to get a refund due to their issues with water quality. Secrets resorts are a no-go for us from here on out. They can change my mind and comp our trip, but getting a hold of a manager after we returned to the US is impossible.

Relaxing Holiday with Superb decor and food
Gorgeous grounds, involves a lot of walking, but beautiful. Superb choice of food for all tastes with excellent service. Pool area a bit too noisy throughout the day, when no activity going on... all right for entertainment and/or activities, but in between too much hassling by employees. Always felt the staff around the pool was looking for a 'tip' to open my towel, or clean my glasses, or get me a drink. Staff very courteous and helpful. Restaurants and choice overwhelmingly great., along with food. Guest room extremely well located.

Amazing Resort, Top Notch Service
Incredible resort. The minute we arrived we were greeted with cold towels and champagne. It was just a pre-cursor to how FANTASTIC the service was going to be here. Beautifully clean pools, facilities, grounds. The beach was amazing. The SERVICE is what really drove it over the edge. No need went unmet here. The concierge at our building ensured any worry we had was promptly taken care of. If you are lucky enough to have Ernesto at your building, rest assured he will take great care of you. Be on the lookout for Alejandro at the social or Infiniti pool. He was by far the most amazing person we were lucky enough to meet during our stay. He got to know us, and us him over our stay and he ensured we were relaxed, well taken care of and comfortable while at the pools. I will be visiting again primarily because of Alejandro but definitely due to the amazing service we received that made this beautiful resort that much better.

Awesome experience
Service was great the resort was beautiful and the food was very good considering it’s a resort. The aesthetic of the resort from restaurants to rooms and lounge areas was very detailed and well thought out. The butlers Martin and Angel were great. Great experience
