Feb 22, 2026Top 5 star hotel, classy and exceptional
This hotel is incredible! 5 star all the way. I have been lucky to stay in 5 star hotels the world over and this ranks in the very best. The staff go above and beyond in every way trying to be as helpful and as accommodating as possible. Brilliant check in, help with room request, remembering my favoured whisky cocktails and recalling where I liked to sit in the restaurant, they all are exceptional and top professionals. The room was incredibly well equipped, very comfy bed, excellent amenities and great French shower and top quality toiletries- I also loved the coffee machine. Exceptional sea view, robes and serviced daily which I adore as a treat on holiday. The pool area was totally fantastic, loved swimming, food very beautiful and tasty and the staff varied the classy selection and high quality indeed. I loved the pool drinks service and the walk to the harbour from the rear of the hotel along the coast. Everything was to my satisfaction and could not have been better. A special thank you to Laura in guest experience who is a true credit to the hotel. The entertainment at night was very tasteful and enjoyable and high standard of vocalists and Bollywood dancers and musicians one evening. If you want a classy, top 5 star, Sophisticated well appointed hotel with exceptional staff and cleanliness this is the place for you! Ultra stylish and going the extra mile - thank you to all the staff who are amazing.

The hotel was not a 5 star hotel worth but max 3 star mainly because of the poor food that is being served. The rooms are very noisy you can hear the neighbours very clearly. The people who work there are very nice and helpful. There is a big difference in cleaning ladies some are very tidy others don’t clean at all. The view is fantastic and the activities lead by Naomi were very great she is so helpfull

Very nice hotel in lovely location but definitely not 5 star. The food in the restaurants was good and the hotel is very clean although the layout around the pool is not great and there is too much concrete for me. It could easily be softened by some pretty plants. The service was 4 star definitely not 5 star. We only saw a waiter around the pool twice throughout our stay and that was only in passing. The reception and most of the restaurant staff were ok but some of the staff in the buffet restaurant were rude. In all restaurants we had to ask for more wine, this was not offered to us and it generally fell short. The entertainment staff didn’t turn up to table tennis and said they would schedule another game of paddle but didn’t, My room wasn’t cleaned one day ( had do not disturb on door from 11-1130am) and I had to call down to reception. I had no hot water one night and reception said they would send someone straight away. When I returned to my room it hadn’t been fixed and there was no communication. Asked again the next morning and the receptionist said there was no note of it being reported the day before but they would get it fixed. It still wasn’t great! No heating in the rooms and we were told when the air con was installed they didn’t realise heating might be needed. Having said all this we really did enjoy The weather was fantastic so it wasn’t really needed but might have been nice for half an hour morning and night to take the chill off.

Not five star. Paid over £4k for ‘Preferred’ class half board. The room we were offered next to the reception and entertainment zone which was very noisy. My wife was shown the only available alternative in an annex which while quiet was half the size of the original room. As there was no other option we took this room. We expected to eat in the four restaurants but were to use a busy buffet, we could use the restaurants at full prices with a 20% discount. We used two of the restaurants which were good and tried the buffet but preferred to eat out at the restaurants near the harbour. Overall a disappointment we would recommend bed and breakfast.
