  Great return experience

  This was our second visit to Secrets Lanzarote. We found standards to still be good. Staff were all very helpful and friendly especially Alejandro (Guest Experience Manager). We had a relaxing and enjoyable time and plan to return again soon.

  Our most wonderful holiday experience ever.

  A stay at Secrets Lanzarote is just the most wonderful experience you could ever wish for. The staff are just fantastic and make you feel so welcome from the moment you arrive. Nothing is too much bother for them. They helped make our 45th wedding anniversary our most wonderful anniversary yet. If you are thinking of going to Lanzarote there is no need to consider where to stay. It has got to be Secrets.

  Try something new for extra holiday fun

  A very enjoyable holiday made even better by all the opportunities on offer at the resort - we loved Pilates with Isabel under the pavilion facing the sea (my first experience of Pilates); stretch, archery, air rifle, padel and who could forget face yoga, hand fan art, tote bag painting and art and wine with Noemi and Charlene - such a great team. We had a lot of fun trying new things as well as sunning ourselves, walks to the marina and neighbouring village and of course, eating in all the resort’s outstanding restaurants. Sea bass at Oceana was a highlight.

  Fantastic March holiday

  2nd time at this beautiful resort . The location is excellent and peaceful - rooms are beautifully maintained and very clean - smart TV - good power points with USB ports - powerful shower and bidet - free safe use - mini bar is stocked daily with water / juices / cokes and beer. If you download the app on arrival you can see the list of activities (all free) rifle shooting - archery - paddle tennis - various craft workshops - Pilates - yoga - cocktail workshops - face yoga ! Such a fantastic range and most things were around an hour to an hour as a half. We were all inclusive (which I would recommend) the restaurants for the evening are absolutely top class - buffet for breakfast and lunch have a great range too. Evening entertainment is a good mix and although we only went to two things they were very good. We didn’t use the spa at all on this occasion but we have done previously - it’s worth going if you can get a free half day pass off reception (sometimes they won’t though ) it’s not included with all inclusive. The cocktail bar (all included) is great. There isn’t a kettle in the room but there is a coffee machine and you can ask for a kettle at reception (and an iron and ironing board) Poolside towels are provided for free From the hotel (which is beach front) there is a good path turning left to the marina that has a small range of cafes and some designer shops and a market Tuesdays and Fridays - it’s about 1.5 km walk - if you turn right out of the hotel it’s a walk along the cliff top to a rustic village with great eateries - cash only - you need walking sandals or trainers fr this one And it’s about 4 km away I would definitely recommend all inclusive as I think half board or bed and breakfast would work out more expensive if you were eating and drinking at the hotel. There is a supermarket at the harbour though which is in very easy walking distance. I would also recommend a private transfer from the airport if you get travel sick - it’s about a 20 minute drive but on the coach it takes around 90 mins as Secret seems to be the last drop off . We didn’t do any excursions this year but last year the one to the volcano was very good and worth doing.

  Absolutely fantastic - book now

  Myself and my wife booked Secrets for our honeymoon, and it exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were given a scented cool towel to freshen up after travelling and also offered a selection of drinks whilst we waited for the porter to assist us with luggage. Once they arrived, they told us to go and relax in our room and they would meet us there. The porter (Manu - I think?) brought the luggage to our room and was incredibly friendly, giving us information about the room, such as how to operate the AC etc. Firstly, the room was stunning. It overlooked the pool and sea, and was so incredibly spacious. Unfortunately, our neighbours were incredibly noisy after a personal disagreement which resulted in police attendance. This was absolutely no fault of the hotel, and they acted quickly in sending security and police to the incident. However, it was a large disturbance on our first night of our honeymoon and caused us distress. We asked reception if there was a possibility of us moving rooms at all, as one of the neighbours was still in the room making noise, and my wife is pregnant and needed to rest after travelling all day. They were so incredibly helpful and offered us a move to a new room, with the assistance of the porter and apologised profusely. They also offered us room service with no service charge due to us being unable to get ready for dinner. Although we didn’t make use of this on that evening, it was appreciated. The new room was equally as stunning. The only issue we faced was the TV did not connect to the WIFI and we therefore could not watch Netflix or Disney, nor screen mirror our iPad. However, we didn’t raise this with reception until halfway through our stay. Once we did raise this, they advised maintenance are working on it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t fixed during our time there, but we were happy to watch our series directly on the iPad. I appreciate that if this was not possible for some, it could be inconvenient. The hotel itself was stunning, with two pools and lots of beds around the pool areas. There was a bar nearby and also poolside drink service. The restaurants were amazing, with the steak in the grill being some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Even in the World Cafe, which is a buffet style restaurant, there was table service and you could watch them prepare the food in front of you. All drinks were branded and not the usual pump drinks you’d get on an all inclusive. Also, with all inclusive, the minibar is included and is stocked each day. The room service was also stunning and beautifully presented with a €10 service charge, although the food was included in all inclusive. Again, we thought this was great for the nights we didn’t want to venture out. We downloaded the app and found lots of information regarding activities and entertainment - again, all included. The entertainment was at 09:30 each night for an hour, which was plenty and also allowed you to eat dinner and not rush to reach the entertainment. The regular activities throughout the day were great. Although, there are limited spaces. If anyone staying is unable to use smart phones or navigate the app, they may miss out on activities and the additional information. There is also a small private beach - which is a suntrap. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the marina where you can book excursions and visit the market. We also visited Rancho Texas, a local zoo and waterpark, which was a 10-15 minute taxi ride (which cost €13). As our transfer was at 06:00 at night, we requested a later checkout. This was granted with no issue and charged at €10 per hour, which is incredibly reasonable given the food, drink and services that are included during that time. Overall, our stay was fantastic. The food was beautiful and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Having read some of the reviews with lower stars, I wonder if people are considering their own expectations, attitude and lack of patience before writing. I have recommended this hotel to everyone that has asked about the holiday. It genuinely was fantastic and I highly recommend.
