Mar 15, 2026Huatulaco is the little secrete place you must visit!
Great property at the shores of Bahia de Conejos (Rabbits Bay). The beach was splendid, clean and warm water. I suspect we were lucky because the the waves were low and gentle during our stay. However, I had heard the swells can become large at times. Another aspect I loved about this property is that they discourage the "reserving" of chairs by people who cover chairs with their towels and sandals and do not appear till late in the day. This means that you could always find a chair at the beach despite being a popular place at the resort. Weather was fantastic, and the staff was helpful, friendly, and responsive.

We will be back!
Our first experience in Huatulco but not at a Secrets Resort. Our stay was fantastic from start to finish....we cannot say enough about how wonderful our vacation was. The rooms, the views, the beach and service were second to none. It was a tremendous stay/experience. The atmosphere was great and the rooms were outstanding. The cleanliness of the rooms, the common areas and the grounds was exceptional. We enjoyed the various dining options throughout the resort and the staff were exceptional and very accommodating. The beach was fantastic and the ocean was so clear and warm. With only being home two weeks, we are already looking forward to our next vacation at the Resort.

Exceptional service thanks to an incredible team
We had an amazing experience at Market Café thanks to the incredible team: Kenia, Ekick, Mayra, and Emanuel. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. The service felt effortless — the kind where you don’t have to ask twice for anything because they’re already one step ahead. What really stood out was their attitude. They made us feel truly taken care of, not just served. Thank you, Kenia, Ekick, Mayra, and Emanuel for making our visit so memorable. We’ll definitely be back! ⸻ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tuvimos una experiencia increíble en Market Café gracias al gran equipo: Kenia, Ekick, Mayra y Emanuel. Desde el momento en que llegamos fueron atentos, amables y realmente acogedores. El servicio se sintió muy natural, de esos en los que no tienes que pedir algo dos veces porque ya van un paso adelante. Lo que más destacó fue su actitud. Mar 13, 2026Definitely not Luxury, in my opinion!
If you are looking for luxury, this is not your resort. While its decor is outdated, it is clean. However the lack of poolside loungers and umbrellas leaves a version of the hunger games starting at sunrise. Be prepared to getup by 6am to secure your loungers, however if you leave your stuff unattended, you may come back to nothing at all or your umbrella stolen by someone else. Food and drinks were decent, lines form at 6pm for dinner, and if you miss that place setting you will be waiting till 8pm to get a table, which may be fine for those that don’t mind eating later. Beach was beautiful, but honestly besides it being adults only, I would give it 3.5 stars. Definitely not the “higher-end” experience I was expecting from a Secrets brand.

Beautiful location in a great part of Mexico ! Offering some of the Secrets extras in a resort that is showing its age, but service & cleanliness are kept up. Beach is quiet and very accessible while away from the 'party' pool area. All poolside & beach lounge chairs fill up early. Great adults only Mexico beachside resort
