Feb 22, 2026Super Bowl in Paradise
Secrets Cap Cana is a beautiful property. We stayed during the Super Bowl and celebrated our youngest son’s birthday while there. We were immediately upgraded to Oceanfront Master Suite Swimout. Room was large , spacious with two balconies. Staff was very friendly and outgoing anticipating your every need, Our butler Philippe Steeve took such great care of us, making my our birthday special. The tiramisu at Portifinos was some of the best. Super Bowl party was lots of fun. Definitely will return,

Firstly, i spent a lot of time researching what should be the best hotel in Dominican Republic for my wife and I to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and my 64th birthday. After looking at options and many reviews we decided on Secrets Cap Cana. Honestly, I was totally underwhelmed. Whilst it is a nice resort, it is not at all grand like so many other resorts that we have been to in the past. That said, it was very well maintained, exceptionally clean, and every person we spoke to was so pleasant. The food was just OK, certainly not top end, the alcoholic drinks were just OK but you had to pay for any top shelf whisky, rum, vodka, gin etc, which I think is appalling when you pay so much money for your holiday. If this is such a top class hotel then just include everything. Sadly, I was quite disappointed, even with the swim out room that we upgraded to that really was not worth that charge. Whilst we did enjoy our holiday, that was down to the staff and entertainment team who were fantastic. The resort is not to the level I had hoped and I would not recommend the resort to anyone if they want to experience the best that a resort can offer.

The staff says it all
We have had multiple trips to Secrets Cap Cana and they continue to impress! The food is excellent with many different options. The staff is what makes this resort! The grounds are keep extremely clean and orderly! Our room was always clean and refreshing. Our many waitress and waiters were phenomenal! Francisco, made sure we always knew how appreciated we were. Esperanza, is very outgoing and friendly! You can truly tell she has a full heart! Santa F, was extremely grateful for everything! And made fantastic drinks and 'fruit art' Yuleisy, is very personable. She is very attentive and knew exactly what we needed! Enrique was our butler. He made sure to check in with us multiple times a day, and took care of everything for us. He is very knowledgeable! He truly made our stay relaxing!! I truly cannot say enough about the staff. From every restaurant to the spa, the gym, and all the grounds! These people are excellent!!
