Week long trip with wife and rest of family (4 young adults). Weather was fantastic. We booked the Preferred Club. I think some guests enjoy the extra pool and beach amenities. The Preferred pool is quieter than the main pool. The main pool is more social and activity oriented but I wouldn’t describe it as a party atmosphere. There are more dining options with PC, especially for breakfast it seemed. All and all I would hesitate to suggest PC as a must have. We had Matiel as our butler. Having his services was an extremely worthwhile perk. Right off the bat, Matiel booked our dinner reservations for the entire week. He sat down with us and helped navigate pricing of spa services. We elected a service for under $500 US that got all 6 of us 50 minute massages plus it includes a daily hydrotherapy session which is very therapeutic. Matiel checks in every morning with the activity and event schedule. If someone has a special request for the room or anything else, Matiel quickly responds to a text. He patrols the resort and is a constant presence. The entertainment staff is fantastic as well. In particular, Ice Cube. We spent a lot of time doing pool and beach activities and even took a bike tour with Ice Cube. He is a very engaging and genuine young man. Our trip would not have been the same without him. For that matter, the entire staff gets an A+. Dancing and singing is a huge part of the DR culture and the servers go about as if they are having just as good of a day as everyone else. Judit has a persona that has a lot of energy and I always enjoyed listening to her singing and dancing around the pools. Even though the pools are the main attraction, the resort should get high grades for the beach. There is some floating weed patches, but the sand under the water is great for swimming and the wading area is very shallow and expansive. In all, Secrets has a great brand and we have not been disappointed on any of our stays.

Luxury at Secrets Cap Cana
We just returned from 12 days at this wonderful resort. Here are some highlights: Check in -we chose Preferred Club and check in and out were a breeze. Room -we had a PC ocean view jr suite -it was amazing. The beds are awesome and love all the shower heads. Room was always cleaned great! Butler -we had Alexis and we enjoyed his friendship and service! Restaurants-we loved the food. We had room service once which was quick and delicious. French Restaurant is outstanding (loved the travers de boeuf and the crème brûlée), the octopus in the Mexican is fabulous. We loved Rosewater for breakfast and most lunches. Shout out to Franklin for his delicious crepes🩷. Bars- great drinks and service. Standouts for us were, Espinal, Francisco, and Augustine in the lobby bar who makes outstanding martinis and balances your glass on his shoulder as he pours-talent! Beach and pools -we love the beach and enjoyed the preferred section. Took many walks and dipped in the preferred pool. Spa-had a relaxing massage with Jenny that was lovely. Shows-we’re not really show people, but we loved the Circus show in the lobby. We will definitely return for more luxury and exceptional service.

An Exceptional Experience from Beginning to End
This was our second visit to Secrets Cap Cana, and we’re already talking about booking our third. It’s hard to imagine a better overall experience. The service begins the moment you arrive. As soon as we stepped off the airport shuttle we were handed a glass of champagne, and our bags disappeared and were already in our suite by the time we got there. We stayed in the Preferred Club in an oceanfront bungalow with a plunge pool. The view of the ocean from the room was beautiful, and the plunge pool turned out to be something we used almost every day. The Preferred Club includes butler service, and ours provided outstanding service throughout the week. He seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked and took care of every detail so we could simply relax and enjoy our time there. The entire resort is exceptionally well run. Staff members are constantly cleaning the pool areas, checking on guests at the beach, and making sure everything looks perfect. The rooms were spotless every day. The location is also ideal. Cap Cana is only about 20–30 minutes from the Punta Cana airport, which makes arrival and departure easy. The resort sits on roughly a mile of beautiful beach, perfect for long walks. The water is clear, sparkling blue, and very clean. Staff remove seaweed before sunrise each morning and rake the beach throughout the day to keep it looking pristine. Because this is an adults-only resort, the overall atmosphere is calm and relaxed. The Preferred Club pool and beach areas in particular were very peaceful, which was exactly the kind of quiet we were looking for. It felt easy to unwind and simply enjoy the setting. There were several highlights for us. Breakfast at Rosewater each morning (with mimosas) was a great way to start the day. The lunches served on the beach were relaxed and delicious. Dinners at El Patio, the Mexican restaurant, were particularly good—although honestly every restaurant we tried was excellent. Secrets Cap Cana is not an inexpensive resort, but the value becomes clear once you’re there. Because it’s all-inclusive, everything is taken care of—whether it’s drinks on the beach, an extra mimosa at breakfast, lunch by the water, dinner at any of the resort’s 10 restaurants, or live entertainment in the evenings. Once you arrive, you simply enjoy the experience without thinking about additional costs. What really stands out is the attitude of the staff. Everyone we encountered was genuinely kind. When you thank someone and they say, “It’s my pleasure,” it really feels like they mean it. Secrets Cap Cana clearly takes pride in the experience they provide. After two visits, we can say they’re doing it right. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Honeymoon Bliss
My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and we have nothing but good things to say. The service was amazing and they did many special things for our honeymoon. Everything was very clean and the spa was a great perk. Shoutout to Barreto for being a dedicated concierge. Thank you for making our vacation memorable!
